As a subscriber to GitHub Enterprise Cloud I assure you that it is not isolated from outages, not in any meaningful way that I have ever noticed.

I don't think this is commendable at all. I give GitHub a lot of money and I'm tired of it being wasted with downtime.

ssh in terminal and/or through VS Code. When needed, I also use Apple's Screen Sharing app.

This is my setup (except I have an Air because the Neo didn't exist yet). And it's great. Tailscale makes it trivial.

While I applaud this specific change, Apple has been known to stick to their guns and I used to believe they were almost always in the right for doing so because it led to better outcomes. So my take is that it's chilling because Apple has so lost their way that they can't figure out these obviously stupid directions internally before making a fool of themselves to the public (and I agree with that take).

I'd prefer something like The Crew but whatever game it ends up in, it would still be awesome!
