Trump's campaign might be anti-establishment, the people he will be bringing in will not be.
Jeff Sessions

Christy
just to name three of his "inner circle"
I cross my fingers that we will get through the next 4 years without any significant events. However, I think this is really a black eye in America. I think right now at least, we're going to be the butt of jokes for the rest of the world. Lets hope he proves us wrong, or at least the system works to contain him.
Apple needs a visionary. Google, Amazon and Facebook all have founders who are visionaries and drive the focus of the company. Tim Cook could be a great CEO, but he is not a visionary and does not drive products. Who is driving the vision at Apple? It's not Jony, I have no idea who is doing that. That is also something you can't do by committee. Apple seems to be really floundering and does not have any great visions for new products or focus to make people excited!
People have certainly slowly lost interest in the iPhone. Apple needs to spend its cash and bring Elon Musk onboard!
nothing micro about the price. $2975 for a 360sq ft apartment off of 2nd avenue, 10 minutes walk to the closest subway stop. The only saving grace is the fact that the apartments are new builds with decent finishes (from the pictures). Housing situation in Manhattan is certifiably nuts.
I generally find the quality of built-in GPS maps in cars to be quite inferior to the quality of google maps. Is this company really worth 3B? who knows, but the car manufactures could probably just licensed google maps for free and focus on building great cars instead.
19bn, 16bn of which is inflated Facebook stock. Zuckerberg knows what he is doing, he's playing the AOL tactic, better use that stock to make some acquisitions before it tanks.
Here's an experiment. Take all the forum members on macrumors and crowd source a new phone by taking all of their ideas. See what kind of mutant non-functioning phone results from a democratic process. One of the reason why Apple and Google's phones and OSs are successful is because there are visionaries (Ives, Jobs, Rubin) at the top coming up with new ideas, instead of taking a poll and purely going with consumer feedback.
the same type of thinking that chess grandmasters had before computers and algorithms eventually caught up? I think it's just a matter of time, as long as the computer is not cheating, that computers and algorithms can beat most poker players.
Can someone explain to me how they were able to withdraw so much money with only a few prepaid accounts? I'm assuming that the even though the prepaid accounts had a small balance, ATM machines let them withdraw as much as they wanted??
troll article. nobody likes google glass, nobody really? I wonder who's buying google glass for thousands of dollars on ebay. It's a prototype device, that's not even available for purchase yet, and it's already being shot down? Lets wait till it is more polished and more people start using it before making such a big statement.
it's probably just a matter of time, or maybe it's already happened, when the police can go to Facebook or Google and ask them to use their computing resources and data to look up someone based on a picture. In this case, I hope they do, and there is some positive result. I'll love to see this link back to the culprits facebook profile, with his email address, phone number, and all his messages.
bitcoin is done. Why would anyone take this seriously and use it as a store of value when it has had this much volatility in one month without any fundamental reason? The problem with bitcoin is that hardly any businesses support it as a unit of payment, without having to convert to a real currency. So as a result, bitcoin does not have any fundamental value. It's purely for speculation and fun.
it's $172 on mtgox, went up another $20 today. This is not a natural movement. This thing is a bubble that can pop any point, but at the same time, I won't be surprised if it goes to $1000 first. Like the .com bubble, you just hope that you can cash out before it crashes.
