I think it’s unreasonable to classify someone as an expert because they took a few courses in the curriculum for a related discipline.
If you haven't dealt with what Plath or this woman has, or are some credentialed authority on early childhood development of exceptional children (or poetry), I can't understand why your speculation on this is worth listening to.

Given they are currently arguing in court they have no such duty, but only to act in their customers best interest, perhaps this isn't sufficiently clear to them.
Perhaps Chamath had reflected on why a celebrity shouldn't be pumping a derivatives trade on Twitter.
If there is a sufficient squeeze, and GME doesn't issue new shares, each of those options (especially those purchased earlier) will result in tens or hundreds of dollars of profit to the holder.
What's your math for asserting that Citadel is making "the most money" "by a huge margin"?

The vaneless ion generator is >5x less efficient.
Molten Salt Reactors, on the surface, sound quite safe, but nuclear power's primary problem is economics, and this is an unproven technology operating over the long time scales needed to amortize reactor construction costs. Nuclear power systems present novel failure mechanisms that don't exist in everyday technology, such as the corrosion mechanisms caused by coupling of mechanical, thermal, chemical, and radiological stresses, and MSR's present a new set of these that are poorly understood. Additionally, MSR's exhibit thermal shocks in normal operations orders of magnitude above what may be produced in a water-cooled reactor.
It's just not that simple - it looks simple to you.
Is "worthwhile science" a jab at nuclear applications?
MC was developed by and used for the Manhattan Project - almost the entire computer architecture we are using to communicate resulted from military research related to strategy concerning weapons that could not have been made without MC, and this remade not only our relationship with technology but the geopolitics of the entire world.
I would say that, more broadly, the omission is the lack of any mention of the use of random sampling, including MC and random methods in machine learning.

Russia doesn't have democracy, and Amazon isn't a Russian company, so I hardly understand your analogy.
Why would you compare what Russia does to political prisoners with the military's discipline in the United States?
This may be news to you, but military service members are subject to an independent justice system with different protections, different laws, and different penalties.
You're arguing that US corporations should be restricted from taking action to suppress insurrection on the basis of having your head in the sand. The US should be in a state of emergency now, and it's obvious to me that it's solely because a white supremacist has replaced the civilian leadership of our government with those complicit in this act.
You're free to ignore what has happened, or believe in an alternate reality. Some of us would be guilty of violating our oaths were we to do the same.
Don't provide an unmoderated online platform for neo-nazis preparing for genocide.
I didn't finish my math major but this seems straightforward.
This platform was used to coordinate an insurrection against the United States Government, and refused to act against those doing so.
The severity of insurrection in US legal code is such that the military may be deployed domestically, and those service members who abetted it are guilty of an offense whose primary punishment in the UCMJ is death.
This isn't just another political issue. The most existential issue facing the state is the integrity of the Constitution.
To me, the most interesting aspects of classification were that the title, content, and classification level itself don't necessarily share levels.
Now I need to ask my boys when they come back in...
Who knows what would happen. It's heartening that in multiple instances, both the US and USSR ignored positive and confirmed indications of massive incoming attack in the hopes they were erroneous.
Information could be Secret and NOFORN or Secret and Five-Eyes, for instance.
The classification scheme is broadly cut up into Confidential, Secret, Top Secret, and Codeword. There are many modifiers to that such as Five-Eyes, Cosmic (NATO), and Restricted-Data (Nuclear Weapon Design).
There are a menagerie of controls that don't rise to classification, like NOFORN, Law Enforcement Sensitive, For official use only, etc.
