Since then:
- My default look for all work, dates, shopping is always the same(except maybe suit colour), apart from sporting activities.
- I never EVERY have to worry about what to wear or what to buy.
- I AM "the guy in the suit". ALWAYS. EVERYWHERE.
- I do not spend any money on clothes (Except maybe one, two new shirts every year and shoes every two years).
- Ladies DO notice. Its EXTREMELY powerful visual magnet for women, and for my ego/confidence.
- Managers DO notice. I AM THE GUY. I SOLVE SHIT. I LOOK GOOD. I CARE.
- People respect me as default.
- People do remember me.
- For some people I seem "stiff" :/ But such is price...
Article is impossible to understand without knowing some TV series and cartoons(!), and some pop culture trivia from US :/
It could be done right with some kind of explanation of trivia...

Worked really well. One of the oldest machine was some 286 connected to some freaky gasoline density aparatus :)
In many cases you can't simply upgrade software, as software for such machines does not support anything else - and you can't really reverse engineer drivers for 50 different machines in sane amount of time.
Most of really expensive machines provide some kind of output over serial interfaces - it seems to be industry standard, but I forgot the name for it.
I'm unable to find Oberon or Oberon 2 MS-DOS compiler binaries anywhere.
Can you help me locate such compiler? Free Oberon project looks like DOS, but it's Windows version in reality.
Apart from lack of coo-processor (which I understand), I do not understand why nearly ALL modern operating systems(Including Linux since 2.4 I believe) are hard-coding the kernel to not boot under 4/8 MB of RAM, even if it could in theory.
Why there is hard-limit of 4, 8, 64 MB of RAM in many kernels of various operating systems?
Is it fail safe "just to be safe" or because there some internal routines, vector tables that REALLY requires 4MB ram to work?[memory partitions/blocks ?!]
I asked the same question here:
- https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=26979499 [Why Linux requires 4MB of RAM no matter of kernel size?]
You see my point is that I'm deep into retro-computing thing.
I would like to learn some new, fresh language instead C, C++, BASIC or PASCAL, but on my real old hardware - so I could test various stuff and FELL the "speed" of my 25Mhz CPU :)
For example NIM is "new", same with Rust.
In contrast there are plenty of C/C++ compilers - but I'm not interested in those languages(boring and DJGPP[gcc/g++ for DOS) are too big for machine with 120MB of disk space).
So what you are saying is that some oldish version of DLANG compiler can actually run on MSDOS as it does have Zortech C++ compiler from 1993 as backend?
This is still "cheating" - but VERY promising! Thank you sir.
Any chance for link to actual MSDOS compiler in such old version?
This is common misconception. What you mean by "AK-47" is usually AKM rifle.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AKM
Secondly: SKS rifles were very popular as well in North Vietnam.

https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=OJ:J...
>The August 2, 1980 bombing of the Bologna train station which killed 85 people, is widely recognized as a Gladio operation. While it was initially blamed on the communist “Red Brigades,” eventually, right-wing and fascists elements were discoverd to be the culprits. Two Italian secret service agents and Licio Gelli, the head of the infamous P2 Masonic lodge, were convicted in connection to the bombing.
>1969: “In Italy, the Piazza Fontana massacre in Milan kills 16 and injures and maims 80 [….] during a trial of rightwing extremists General Giandelio Maletti, former head of Italian counterintelligence, alleges that the massacre had been carried out by the Italian stay-behind army and rightwing terrorists on the orders of the US secret service CIA in order to discredit Italian Communists.”

I love NetBSD, as it supports about 40+(?) different architectures - back in the they were all listed properly on the main web page (right side) - it was amazing for bragging rights:
https://web.archive.org/web/20030422140310/http://www.netbsd...
but then suddenly:
- they changed the website to "modern" ascetics(and they removed the list of supported architectures from main page so no more bragging rights on landing page!]
- they changed numbering systemem of new releases (why?!)
- they simplified LOGO (not COOL anymore - just "professional")
and suddenly NetBSD was going down [after 3.0 release IMO] in terms of popularity AND funding :(
Only hope is in Chinese development who are using it for projects in mainland China.
- Badly configured basebands (for example lack of summer/winter time change flag!)
- Broken PTP
- Stations that take time from NTP which does not exist or does not have route to.
- I don't know the name for it, but getting time from local Nodeb is an feature - and sometimes features are not active or licensed[1].
- Station setup with GPS instead PTP/NTP (let's say for 2G or some slower HDSPA modes) with broken GPS module itself
- Software error [basebands have multiple versions of software, same goes for APG's, SCU'S, RRU's and dozen other black boxes. Even cabinet itself have some software. This is big pain in the ass to keep them all updated in large network - as upgrade process can be disruptive and sometimes it is better to not upgrade [cases of some really wacky stations]...
- Problem with software in terms of PTP implemetation. For example there are some discrepancies between Huawei and Ericsson software when it comes to PTP.
[1]. This is big shocker for Open Source Software community:
- EVERY SINGLE FEATURE in base station is not only NOT free, but Telecoms needs to pay them every single month[all manufactures: Nokia, Ericsson, HUA do that]. We are talking here in about 100-200 licenses for various features per site alone. If you don't buy new license every 28 days - your base station will turn off and it's nothing you can do.
- Hardware provider can also refuse to give you new licenses in theory...
- This is real hell of SaS world that NO ONE is talking about.
I'm quite shocked that you do not(??) have flat feet. In my country it is 35$ per month for unlimited rides on metro, buses and trams.
Why? Erasing history is biggest of all evil. Even if you believe in "never again" doctrine. History should be preserved - friends or foes, otherwise we will end up with pure propaganda regrading "old times". In my case: I'm socialist so i can see multiple benefits of Bolshevik revolution and its impact on let's say modern labor law, or things like maternity leave(not is US). Same goes towards great evil during Stalin era.
Also it my case i observed that i have better accuracy when NOT winding the main mechanism to the maximum.
For example "Signal strength" APK. It's just matter of time until you will find one with logging and export ability. You can always write it down with pencil :)
Worth to mention that there are 3 types of handovers:
- Intra-relations: user can be switched between various cells at same tower.
- Intra-relations but with handover to lower technology (let's say when 4g is not available[too much traffic], so you will be dropped to let's say 3g or even 2g cell)
- External-relations: relations between cells on different towers.
As for towers:
- Not all operators allows for local roaming between various operators.
- Most towers have 3-5 sectors (pizza slices), but it's not that unusual to see OMNI antennas(single sector for 360 degrees).
Those watches do not need battery power, and this is super amazing in era of computers and internet.
Just spring and muscle, perfect for post apocalyptic world.
