Does even Microsoft make any meaningful contribution to Chromium?
I genuinely don't know because this aspect of English newspeak hasn't made it to my country yet.
I am aware that cows milk is not sufficient for babies. The approx age is one. The (main) reason is iron. By one most (western) children eat a sufficient diet that cows milk is a sufficient milk source.
My concern is that some parents may see the anti cows milk propaganda and not provide any milk after weaning (almond, oat etc drinks are not milk).
Wtf?
I guess just copy their methods?
Yes when it became apparent that BTRFS was not ready RH did that. It was a slight surprise when it happened if I remember correctly.
I said RHEL v9 OR 10. I guess 9 is unlikely but 10 is a number of years off. If BTFS is a sucess on Fedora and stable then they will surely consider it. That is the point of Fedora...

I actually suspect this role was thrust on the CDC because they are generally supported by everyone (everyone sane anyway). I'm not a fan of this having happened because they should be too important to get mixed into politically poisonous debates.
Devs think it is either telemetry or develop blind but in reality software was developed (and possibly was better) before telemetry using focus groups.
Second. You've done this/someone else has done this and now you need to maintain it (we've all been there!). In this case my original post holds. Your test suite mocks the databases for unit tests anyway right? So write some test(s) checking that when the various databases are down appropriate responses are given by your service.
