yes, I grew up watching mainly old American cartoons (like Tom and Jerry), and I don't remember them being particularly "educational", and it was well understood that we are watching them for entertainment, and the last one was at 7:15 pm on our television.
How did you get those people paying you, and how much they paid? Since you have a monthly service, surely they haven't been paying your usual monthly fee for all that time while you were coding?
They published at least 10,000 listicles in 3 months! now, that is what I call a soul-crushing job (writing those articles)
Oh crap, I thought Canada was better.
For some reason, I keep being surprised how a month long vacation is called "sabbatical" in American terms while in Europe everyone gets 4-6 week vacation every year, and it's not that rare to take it all at once.
4 days summer work week is nice.
I am not looking to draw conclusions, just to get an answer to my question.
showing a response to a stimulus. "pupils are reactive to light"
acting in response to a situation rather than creating or controlling it. "a proactive rather than a reactive approach"
So, the passage explains what contribution margin is, but TC is talking about being "contribution margin positive". How would you understand the second term?
>> Contribution margin, or dollar contribution per unit, is the selling price per unit minus the variable cost per unit. “Contribution” represents the portion of sales revenue that is not consumed by variable costs and so contributes to the coverage of fixed costs.
So, positive contribution margin should imply they covered all the fixed and variable costs, the way I read it.
But then, why do they need to shut down? It looks like their def on "contribution margin positive" is something else after all.
