The world has a real threat of population collapse and the HN crowd can be really imbecile at times.

Population explosion is a dumb idea that has gone too far and people whose reading is limited to their school textbooks blindly believe in it.

What would be the tagline?

"Forcible dating"?

You 2, date right now!

You didn't justify why population growth is bad.

The world is increasingly accepting the fear of population collapse and its a real threat. India is the only country in the world with decent replacement levels.

No country wants to end up like Japan.

I wonder how many stealth mode companies have actually delivered anything?

Magic Leap used to be in stealth mode back in 2016 and there was so much frenzied speculation around it in the media.

Last I heard, they had delivered some headsets of industrial process automation and that's about it.

>>Cramium (still in stealth mode), approached me to advise on open source strategy

Why is a stealth mode company interested in an open source strategy?

Isn't that counter intuitive and purpose-defeating?

You need to stick to one activity for at least 3 months before deciding it doesn't really serve any purpose. Trial and error. Consistency is the key.

I think indulging in onanism keeps testosterone levels alright. Am I right?

Do you want to be a good speaker? Join Toastmasters.

Do you want to explore nearby areas? Go hiking.

Do you want to capture moments? Try using your own phone and start photography.

Do you want to start a vlog? Invest in a GoPro

On the “Funding secured” part, I think he has proved in court (Musk vs SEC) that to the best of his knowledge, funding was indeed secured and the Arab sheikhs ditched him later. He shared text messages in the court.

Still needs corroboration.

Hey author, this is OP. Thanks for documenting your ordeal.

Would you please give some examples of winter activity to make friends?

I lived in Markham for around 3 weeks, left the place only 3 days ago.

Meanwhile in another corner of the world , a city called Pune is making similar efforts albeit on a much smaller scale ($22 Bn) -

Just an FYI - Google did make an attempt to launch Street View more than a decade ago in India but had to cave in

Supercool.

If you wanted to add a functionality wherein you could upload to Google Drive like CloudShot, what would you need to write?

Open question → What's your favorite screenshotting tool?

Mine's CloudShot. I can upload some screengrabs straightaway to Google Drive. You have the option to configure keyboard shortcuts to do that.

Yep, new projects are fast upcoming in GTA's as well and newcomer immigrants prefer buying their own homes within 5 years of arrival.

In Toronto they lease their basements too which is not seen much in NYC.

Toronto is just a puddle jump away and rents are hoevering at 2k-3k CAD/ month.

Hope this inflation doesn't reach Toronto.

I think it’s a infeasible move by Netflix to re-capture it’s lost subscriber base. They need to focus on content which people like (For ex - thrillers) and cheaper subscription cost rather than an ad-supported platform.

Netflix will run into same issues eventually which Facebook did.

Did you ask her out for a coffee?

I work in an enterprise software ecosystem and on current version (something we call the converged platform), we are getting our SaaS customers upgraded to Aurora from previous SQL DB. It’s just what our DevOps calls a “life and shift upgrade” (whatever the heck that means coz the issues that entails it gives us a hard time)

I have been journaling since 24 years now, on and off.

What I have figured out is recording your voice and expressing yourself clearly , with emotions attached to your voixe, is lot more powerful.

Oh that.

That I have done last week itself, no response →

For which issue? AirPods Pro or the external monitor one?

And will you please guide me as to how can I submit a formal bug request?

Would it be via GitHub or their website?

I connect to the same external monitor everyday in my office and both are restarted daily - my primary laptop as well as the secondary monitor. Never has the audio been captured in this setup.

Yes, all the time.

I connect to the same external monitor everyday in my office and both are restarted daily - my primary laptop as well as the secondary monitor.

Never has the audio been captured in this setup.

Have been using OBS for over a year coz Grabilla is not supported on my new company laptop.

A huge learning curve is needed to understand OBS.

For ex -

I have still not been able to figure out how to record audio using AirPods Pro

Secondly, whenever I connect an external monitor to my primary laptop, the audio is not recorded.

Some challenges I face while using OBS.

Many a times it's really frustrating

Western countries?

Pray give us some examples. Curious to know if this happens in Canada and USA.
