git-nebulous··on ICE will release body cam video only when seen in the agency's 'best interests'
This is why in almost all things the solution is less, not more, power to the State. That includes the violent, the legislative, and the judicial arms. Your favorite person or political position may be represented now but will not always be.
git-nebulous··on Nobody Died – and That's the Scary Part – Oshkosh 2026 [video]
oshkosh line up is high workload/scary enough in the best of times. this is craziness.
git-nebulous··on Atlassian Rovo Exfiltrates Data, Bypassing Controls
To be fair to Atlassian - their products did suck quite a bit before 18 months ago as well. Just now they still do, but with ai!

no. but pi.dev is.
git-nebulous··on DuckDB surpassed 40 000 stars on GitHub

git-nebulous··on Civilian plane crash in New Mexico tied to military GPS blocking
The civilian uses for GPS are obvious and as a pilot I'm more than pleased to make use of it. But... the military is jamming a military product that happens to have civilian uses. It's not flying the plane. That's like saying "heavy rain crashes car"
git-nebulous··on We finally learned to center a div, then browsers added sidebars

git-nebulous··on Cops Used Flock to Track a Man Across State Lines for a Pretextual Weed Search
If you survive to get in front of a jury. That's a big if. Plus, even if you were falsely arrested and wounded by police and your rights clearly violated... were they violated in that EXACT same way in the past establishing precedent that it isn't ok to stalk/injure people? No? Qualified Immunity. FTP.
git-nebulous··on US refunds $100B of Donald Trump's 'liberation day' tariffs
I wonder if this is incompetence, design, or both? Tariffs are nothing more than an inefficient, protectionist tax on the recipient state's people UNLESS your aim is to increase rent-seeking/favor-requesting behavior from industry in order to get them in your pocket politically. Then it's an inefficient, protectionist tax on the people, but a very efficient way to have increased political power for the regime. Who cares if everyone suffers? Public Choice Theory at its finest.
