I've not heard anything good about Google's support in general.
Their partner repair company which did my screen replacement tried to refuse because it was running GOS - had to use all my charm to convince her to do it.

£50 for the 8 Plus isn't too bad though
(€150 = £127)
That's incorrect.
Some, not all, PIP recipients are also in receipt of means-tested benefits, such as Universal Credit for example, which has a £6k capital disregard, and a reduction of benefits between £6k and £16k, and no entitlement over £16k. (Also I'm sure there are PIP recipients who work and receive no other benefits)
There surely are PIP recipients who would end up with savings of over £6k if they did not spend their PIP on anything else, and Motability is a legitimate way to spend it in the eyes of the DWP.
Don't forget the notorious vertical pink line issue! Luckily that had (has?) an extended warranty programme.

Being interested in/annoyed at the price of new cars even as a second-hand car buyer is somewhat justified
Enjoy the overnight cheap electricity while it lasts. The only long-term strategy is investment in solar and batteries – use your temporary savings the government is giving you to invest in solar etc. Some governments are signalling that we have a role to play in electricity infrastructure investment...
Governments are only temporarily letting you get away with not paying the 0.35-0.80 EUR fuel duty on each litre of petrol/diesel (which then has VAT added. These taxes amount to 100s of billions a year across all of Europe). UK is steaming ahead with a per-mile tax on EVs and hybrids, for example.
The equivalent in London is therefore the Older Persons' Freedom Pass, which I believe is free to apply for
The 60+ Card is therefore something most of the country doesn't benefit from from age 60, and the fee is perfectly reasonable
This is sidetracking anyway
Only slightly less absurd than the witch trial in Monty Python's Holy Grail.
It's a political choice whom to inflict operational burden or cost upon.
Ie maybe it's not the suit or the suit alone
Two wheels and some impressive leg muscles !
But then again we don't fear police and ICE shooting us dead and our government wasn't subject to a coup in 2021, so there is that. Swings and roundabouts
I'm just saying the police will unlikely drop their line of questioning after you claim you forgot the PIN. They'd probably then seek to prove you did know it - eg ask where's your boarding pass is, ask if you messaged/called anyone before/during your flight, try to establish the time the phone was last used, reducing the period of forgetting etc
IANAL/officer of course
Err our policing and judicial systems weren't born yesterday. You'll be treated as having refused to unlock/decrypt, as devices are so ubiquitous and people unlock tens or hundreds of times a day.
And quite a bit of backed-up data on Android is not E2EE encrypted
Increase women's education, labour participation, reduce infant mortality, have good access to birth control, and make life expensive...You're not going to get babies
No idea about direct attribution to the UK's alcohol consumption though
Sure it starts out covering edge cases but the more they realise they can shift a burden - and cost - to homeowners, it'll spread. I don't want grid infrastructure in my home personally
What happened to economies of scale?
It's more important for shareholders to increase profits than to actually invest in infrastructure.
Same. Will sell my Air when security updates stop for Sequoia
