geekodour··on Ask HN: What are the best man pages to read?

geekodour··on Ask HN: What's a good static site generator to use for a blog in 2018?
I built a JavaScript static site generator last year, works good for me. It uses github issues but makes it static.

geekodour··on Ask HN: What is your side project for 2018?

great work kabir, I am 21, I am not half of what you do, you're awesome. do more good. :)
geekodour··on What are a sane set of key bindings between i3wm, tmux, and vim?
this really depends on you configure it the way you want, I went through various dot files and found few very useful.

one tmux lifesaver is this one for me:

# split panes using | and -

bind | split-window -h

bind - split-window -v

unbind '"'

unbind %

I think you should just explore various dotfiles. does not take much time that way.

geekodour··on Ask HN: Have you regretted making something open-source?
Thankyou very much for your advice :) I'll keep on making things.
geekodour··on Ask HN: Have you regretted making something open-source?
I made a static blog generator based on github (https://github.com/geekodour/gitpushblog) I thought people will like it, It seems I wasted about 1month making that in my free time. I even wrote a funny blogpost about it in a blog generated by that generator ( https://geekodour.github.io/posts/dont-waste-your-time-makin... )
geekodour··on Show HN: Gitpushblog Static blog generator for GitHub pages uses issues&comments
gitpushblog is a set of npm scripts that make it easy to build a blog using the githubAPI and nunjucks and makes it really easy to push it into appropriate repository, for both user pages and repository pages. I somehow managed to complete it, almost lost motivation.
geekodour··on Ask HN: Do you have a business idea? Why haven't you tried it?
I am 21, I have a lot of proper ideas, most for side projects, and 2-3 for real business idea which are still not very great. I think, to start building an idea we atleast should be really good at something(code/design/lead/other) and then I can do my part of the work and the others needed eventually. I am a college student, and I am just recently starting to learn about how software is being deployed at production and about how things fit together. As I am not good with the lead part, so I think should get better with the tech part and then I start.
geekodour··on Ask HN: Would anyone be interested in a mind map visual search engine?
This is great! I like doing the same. I collect them in trello boards. But mind maps is definitely something that gives you more insight. :)
geekodour··on Beej's Guide to Network Programming

I've been using Redmi 2. It's only around 75$, It has good support and roms and the MIUI os itself is beautiful too. They are doing the right thing, I can't care much about privacy stuff till I am getting my things done.
