With how difficult it can be to do anything with an executive dysfunction disorder ( what ADHD is ), I can totally see someone being fine on their meds, running out, and then being super unproductive as they also navigate scheduling mandated check-ins with a medical professional so they can get a refill ( it can be a huge pain in the ass )
This part annoys me; when I would have RSU's vest, my broker would send me a 1095B(?) which plainly lists stock price at time of acquire and time of sale, and the gains, which for RSU's sold at time of vesting is 0
but for some reason I don't understand, they don't report the cost basis to the IRS, just the sale and price at time of acquire, so if you don't file your taxes to fill in that cost basis information, the IRS will cite you as having earned the entire sell cost of the stock!
This fucks up a lot of people new to tech/taxes, and I still haven't been able to find documentation on why they don't file the cost basis for you if they're reporting the sale anyway.
o/t: Could you add a close button to that ethical ads element? It's obscuring a decent chunk of the screen on mobile and I can't figure out how to dismiss it
This doesn't affect any of the MFA secrets you manually added to Authy, and these days many of the integrated services will let you additionally add standard TOTP mfa to your account ( unfortunately Twitch still requires you to set up an Authy account first, though )
something leads me to believe you don't realize the can of worms this statement opens
personal traumas are highly complex for one, and more to the point, there's many reasons why someone may not report such an event to a particular authority.
The blog post's note of:
> Thanks to web3, the software can charge for usage automatically and anonymously.
is concerning as the definition of web3 being used there seems to be the one bound to cryptocurrency... is the "monetization module" going to effectively require integration with an arbitrary blockchain ecosystem, or is that just an example of one possible implementation strategy?
Most corps would avoid projects using this license if the former were to be the case, but the latter is more open ended and could be anything from a phone home with a license server to micropayments (of any kind, no judgement here).
Looking forward to learning more about you see these issues being tackled since they're not addressed in the faq as far as I can tell
Aside, this would be sick for realtime apps, like, imagine you just get a good professional photo or two done and then drive those with your webcam? It'd be like making a vtuber of yourself
