I think it's fine for people to desire quieter neighborhoods in this era of high population density. I don't think that the people in all of those examples were pursuing change for the financial gain.

Although it doesn't fit the theme of the others because it consumes the list, it is certainly a more natural use of "while" to loop over a list.I wonder whether there would be any significant difference in first-game performance between qwerty/dvorak/azerty/etc touch typers.
Finally, I started learning it just a month ago and now I don't know what ever stopped me before. In fact, the most annoying thing I've found about Python3 is that my searches for documentation on DDG or Google all go to the Python2 docs.
I'm getting a lot of [Math Processing Errors] when I view your article: http://imgur.com/PSeMX I haven't looked at the source to see what was going on, so it might be that I'm blocking flash or something.
Otherwise, it was great! :) Thanks for a fun read!

I believe this is one, but you'll have to build it yourself after sourcing parts.
Slackware's package management tools doesn't do dependencies. In Arch you can easily remove a package and everything that is no longer required.
pacman -Rsn package-to-remove
Arch is easy to set up with the installer. You get a minimal shell system which is good for focusing on code. Most things work out of the box if you just pacman -S the-package-you-need.
The hard stuff (wireless) is very well documented on http://wiki.archlinux.org/. Failing that, community on #archlinux is very helpful.
I'm sure it's not for everybody, but I like to spend my time creating things in code, and not arguing about what's the best environment to create things in.

A tool which aggregated all legislation moving through both the House and the Senate along with the supporters and opponents of each would benefit the public's ability to keep an eye on what Congress does.
Done right, giving such visibility to the Democratic process could go a long way toward fixing it.

This is beautiful. It succinctly puts forth the problem that SOPA/PIPA and similar legislation will create: chilling innovation. However, nobody can deny that computers and the internet have irreversibly changed the game. It is simply no longer default that one must purchase information. Information doesn't want to be free, it just is free (for better or for worse).
Certainly innovative, but does this make things better?
I don't understand why people are pursuing a guy who didn't do anything wrong and doesn't want to be found.
