If suddenly anyone can code we're not that special anymore.
Its like just commenting "I disagree" its totally pointless for discussion.
That's why you're getting downvoted if you're wondering.
Why would I want to be restricted to google’s “view” of the info
In the future I don't even use Google but my bot does
Does that suggest the uplift was only for things that are easily verifiable like code?
Trying to crank out all the tools I never had time to build because I think we’re going to get cut off eventually
If you still hold code review to the same standard and just make the agent do incremental changes rather than vibing the results are pretty good.
Everyone having their own hyperspecific apps or even different UIs/visualization in the same app
The whole idea of an application becomes a much more fluid thing
If your app is built with a dynamic language why not let users re-write the code themself and add whole new features
Everyone and their mom will have their own hyperspecific custom apps prompted into existence
Something like Claude Code with stricter sandboxing built into the OS for consumers
Not just desktop either but also on phones
It does not get any better than that

But that's not the case here
I have to periodically get it to do a bunch of refactoring
Something that was table stakes in the past would now be seen as crazy for a company to spend money on
What is driving you to feel this adoption pressure? Is it the actual results other people on your team are producing or just the discussion/hype?
My understanding is every device syncs its own full copy of everything?
So if you have a lot of images/PDFs, does your phone have to be able to hold everything at once?
If I generate code with an agent and review it and iterate back and forth until the quality is as high as I would write myself, the end result is no different
I'm still in control of holding it to the same quality level?
With agentic coding there is still a human reviewing the code, that's the main difference from vibe-coding
The rules are just to try to guide it and save iteration time but there is no illusion that they are actual hard rules since everything is statistical.
> Such paradigm assumes that LLMs are perfect reliable super accurate rule followers
That's the whole reason we're not vibe-coding, we are well aware of that.
And it’s hard to argue against seemingly instant results
In the future everyone will have a bot and our bots will just handle all interactions
Notion-core
That's not really the case for volleyball
Most cities have drop-in where you just show up and form teams
