oooor bills to pay...
hmm, couldn't it be that some other customer service people would actually do their job about your issue? How do you know it would all be channeled through this one guy that was in on the joke? In any case if they did ignore your request, you could still do the whole crashing thing...
One thing that helped me to learn English was to watch movies (especially stuff with cool oneliners) with both subtitles and close captions on when possible, so I get a transcript of the dialogue and a translation at the same time. Later on I only needed the English subtitles to verify that what I heard was correct.
Movie quotes are great because they lend themselves to repetition (much to the annoyance of everyone else in the room).
Maybe it's cynicism, maybe cowardice or just plain laziness. Anyway, gotta get back to watch Seinfeld reruns and stuff my face.
Also I browse with chrome at 144% zoom so that picture ended up taking more than half my screen which freaked me out some more.
The end result is that people in the team got to know each other the quickest of any place I've worked at (and new team members integrate in no time), which also resulted in people working really well together.
Funny thing is that we also have a Wii which was bought the same day as the table, but only saw playtime the first week. After that it has been collecting dust.
The moment you have other people in your vehicle you're _responsible_ for their lives. Now everyone is cheering because it worked out but it could have easily ended up as a [Retard] tag on Fark.
more like "Innes kicked into irresponsible mode risking other people's lives to try something he probably saw on a movie"
It's like there's this desperate need of justifying playing video games with every new study that says 'look! I am not actually wasting my time!'
Personally I think no silly justification is needed as there's nothing wrong with enjoying entertainment.
