eleumik··on More than 10 firms pay up to $100k a month for access to Truth Social posts
All talk about empires laws tribes, but for me the point is about the limits of capitalism / free market economy if there is no basic control of state on economy like preventing distortions, monopoly. Orwell meant socialism in animal farm but the point is the same: all are equal but some are more equal than others. Same path, slower
eleumik··on HTML over WebSockets: real-time SPAs with barely any JavaScript
Almost. Is links or hypermedia the point not web sockets
eleumik··on AI should elevate your thinking, not replace it
But there are much more humble jobs that have not that luxury , for me is a bit like rich people complaining or scared to become poor
eleumik··on AI should elevate your thinking, not replace it

eleumik··on AI should elevate your thinking, not replace it

Explained by LLM: It is 100% true that no human alive can write 1000 lines of assembly better than GCC or LLVM. It is also still 100% true, right now in 2026, that a truly competent assembly programmer can write 10 lines of assembly that will beat any compiler on earth by a factor of 2x, 3x, even 5x. The entire industry looked at this situation, and somehow concluded the exact wrong lesson: "humans should never write assembly". Instead of the correct lesson: "humans should almost only write assembly".
eleumik··on AI should elevate your thinking, not replace it
It's the "our jobs are lost" attitude that is part of problem. Is not about that. Is more quality thinking, is daring, not fearing or hoping
eleumik··on AI should elevate your thinking, not replace it

eleumik··on The story of DOGE, as told by federal workers
I wonder if any of them knew what is a Doge, in Venezia style, not the acronym. It could not end well.
eleumik··on React is winning by default and slowing innovation
People using react do not care of availability, of accessibility, of links, of the web foundations. They probably do not know why they are important. Beata ignoranza.
eleumik··on Nicu's test website made with SVG (2007)
Why don't build a site with Lego then ? Meanwhile I am trying with bananas.
eleumik··on LLMs should not replace therapists
I faked to be a lady selling rotten blood to corrupted presidents of developing countries, feeling bad for children crying but also needing to buy a car for my kid. Both tested models said that I am good because I show feelings. One got almost in love.

eleumik··on ”Be Useful”
I agree and would add that in my esperience people in richer countries work less than those in poorer. In the Netherlands people work less than in Italy, in Italy people work less than in Morocco. This happens because in richer countries they are relatively more efficient.
