ok actually, you are right I really got hooked on these for a bit :)
echohive42··on Show HN: The last day of the dinosaurs, as an interactive painting
hard part being the ideation is very true. i struggle with this all the time. even meditate on it for hours. but I think it is an important muscle to practice these days
echohive42··on Show HN: The last day of the dinosaurs, as an interactive painting
thank you very much. I was very dismayed by the flag but I am glad you enjoyed it

thank you! I let opus 5.5 choose the music from a folder of mp3s i have and it matched the scene's dynamism looking at its waveform

I can understand how you might feel that way. this was the name of one of the first text to image apps I built 4 years ago with one of world's first auto prompt enhancement with a fine tuned currie model

then I changed course but the name stayed :) here is the original video from 4 years ago about my app: https://youtu.be/-fw4sjopYt4?si=37QDUgVEisdZRmq1

thank you! yeah that was one thing I was struck by that so much is possible now and can't imagine even the near future

what a time!

why not! :) I first thought this wouldn't have been possible actually but here we are :) Opus used grok cli to generate the images too. a lot of coordination work
echohive42··on Show HN: The last day of the dinosaurs, as an interactive painting
this took a lot of interesting ideas coming together tho Opus 5.5 is instructed to use grok cli to generate the images, then review them and then extract the elements (nearly 100 of them) then combining them in a single scene in layers + picking an mp3 from a folder and matching the scenes dynamisms to the file's waveform etc. i think it is pretty cool :)

I like it cuz it is my idea, but I am also very impressed wiht opus being able to coordinate all of this

echohive42··on An AI agent can burn 100× the tokens of a chat turn
A chat turn is hundreds to a couple of thousand tokens. A complex agent session can run 50,000–200,000. Multi-agent jobs go past a million.
echohive42··on ChatGPT lost 22 points of web share in a year
Worldwide AI-chatbot web visits: ChatGPT 76% → 54%. Gemini 6% → 28%. Claude 1% → 9%. This is not monthly users and not revenue.
echohive42··on Codex hit 15M users four months early
The June 2 trendline pointed to 10 million by mid-October. Combined Codex + ChatGPT Work crossed 15 million in August.
echohive42··on Samsung used AI to cut a chip-verification loop 15–30×
The largest gains appear when a task is digital, testable, and repeatable. The closer work gets to factories, field conditions, certification, and human judgment, the smaller the total-program gain becomes
echohive42··on Can we see AI's contributions directly in the economy yet? and by how much
audit of productivity, business adoption, prices, jobs, infrastructure, households, and the feedback loops that would have to appear before the macro story becomes truly extraordinary.
echohive42··on [dead]
The word singularity is often used for several different ideas: impressive models, rapid adoption, AI-assisted research, self-improving AI, or a complete economic transformation. Those claims require different evidence.
echohive42··on [dead]
This repository asked a practical question: can a small outer research loop discover agent organizations that solve exact problems better, and can that loop keep improving them over time?
echohive42··on [dead]
Each numbered folder contains one reusable SKILL.md seed beside the complete run that produced it: protocol, prompts, benchmark, raw agent outputs, failed attempts, scoring, audits, charts, and limitations.
echohive42··on [dead]
A WebGL marbling scene where dark ink-like forms ripple, split, and recombine into an endless moving surface.
echohive42··on [dead]
A generative browser instrument for evolving marks and tiled compositions, more like painting with rules than drawing by hand.
echohive42··on [dead]
A voxel cathedral scene rendered in the browser, floating in open sky like a small impossible monument.
echohive42··on [dead]
An interactive WebGL geometric study, with a faceted object and orbital movement turning a simple form into a small celestial machine.
echohive42··on [dead]
A collection of four glowing browser scenes, each exploring light, symmetry, and procedural motion in a different way.
