earthtograndma··on More on Apple's Trust-Eroding 'F1 the Movie' Wallet Ad
If I'm reading all this correctly, it sounds like Apple has a system that will automatically play unintended music at various times from the music library. The only way to prevent this is to completely wipe out the entire library.

And the chief complaint is that there is an album in the library.

earthtograndma··on Which year: guess which year each photo was taken

This entire page is an attempt by Amtrak to explain why the trains are always waiting for freight traffic. I've taken the train many times, and they yield to freight traffic for hours every trip.

earthtograndma··on Kris Kristofferson has died
In the 90s, he had a meaty part in a John Sayles movie named Lone Star. It's an indie masterpiece; really wonderful. Chris Cooper, Matthew McConaughey, and Elizabeth Peña are in it.

I notice it's written in Ember, which is billed as the framework for ambitious web developers -- in this case, it definitely checks out.
earthtograndma··on Tell HN: Google's new summarize SMS just read another person's messages to me
"I'm not sure if it was truly another person's summary" seems to be at odds with the headline.
earthtograndma··on Foxconn's promise to invest $10B in Wisconsin is now a distant memory
He was talking about his election in 2016, claiming that Foxconn would not invest this great sum of money had Hillary Clinton been elected. As usual, he was looking backwards and spewing nonsense.
