Are there any legitimate reasons for a 28-300% variance in price? Why are discounts secret? I can totally see why the seller would want that, but these are public health care countries studied and I don't see why public spending is allowed to stay a secret.
Very depressing.
It would be awesome to have this kind of analysis made dynamically, by some service. It's always a major hassle figuring out which airline site is more convenient to buy from. Saas idea maybe? :)
I agree with you. I get the impression that data aggregation&analysis is so deeply ingrained in Google company culture that it's entirely possible the responsible people truly believes nothing went wrong here.
While I applaud the effort to protect users privacy I don't think these measures are very effective. It seems more like a way for governments to show who's in power and doing it in such an uninformed way is a little silly imo. Cookies are not the problem.
If chat is important to you I'd definitely take a look at Slack in combination with Google Docs. Slack is a very good chat client, but it's the ease of extending and integrating it to your systems that is the real killer feature (imo).
When a tool is cumbersome to use (and/or hard to learn) team communication is the first victim in my experience. People simply don't use it, or use it reluctantly and as little as they can. Slack gets this and goes out of its way to make communication frictionless.
Does Hugo do any of the more advanced build tasks, like image compression&inlining, sass/less/postcss conversion (and minification)? How does it fare wrt to adding javascript behavior to pages (e.g. React components), do I have to setup a separate build system for that stuff?
Did you manage to connect the regular Slack client to this? Is it enough to redirect the traffic to "myorg.slack.com" wherever your daemon is running? That would be kinda neat.
