Oh yes. It is not a fantasy. The rules of engagement with prisoners of war, unarmed civilians, dead people, aid workers, journalists, medics are codified and is expected in wars. But this particular state, is given a free hand to do anything it wishes. It is not bound by a constitution, rather the whims of a conveniently placed group of people.

And please, this is no collateral, it is happened to a group of people who informed and coordinated with the occupying force.

The only democracy in the galaxy, is after all a random power hungry group of people with no constitution and no conscience.

We have a ceasefire resolution passed, but no one Is going to enforce it. Even when their own people are murdered. What is the mandate that the powers that be, entrusted with an apartheid regime, that no matter what, they will continue to sell weapons and support the genocidal regime?

There is a documentary, that is worth watching, called three broken cameras (or five?). It goes through the life of a video journalist. You can see that the struggle for homeland in Palestine has been in majorly peaceful ways. But the violent ones are the most reported. The peaceful protests are treated with brutal force. Unlike what you see in the protests by Israelis against Judicial reforms etc. I remember a scene in it, where the colonisers burn olive trees. It is a way to remove the agency of the people, who has been farming there for ages. It has been reported in the Nakba in 1948 as well, and apparently continues to this day.

The cruelty knows no bounds. The west has a moral responsibility for this heinous crimes. They created it, and nurtured it. And they still do, while professing about values.

The apartheid and oppression instituted might just be one of the most sophisticated system mankind has ever done to anybody. Not just the level control and brutal justification, but audacity to claim that apartheid does not exist. Not to mention the cognitive dissonance to claim that if it exists, it is deserved to them.

I hope since its submitted by US, it won't be vetoed by US itself. But the wording of the draft still needs to be out, if it is to be called as acceptable.

One correction, the entire palestinian territory was attached by israel, forcefully. It's as if ukraine attacking its own territory, which it does now, because the russians are ruling those parts. Not to mention the massacres committed against the people in 1948, as part of foundation. And the continued discrimination. EU and US are sanctioning people who settle in westbank now. Is Russia going to Kiev and attaching homes from the Ukrainians, and giving to people from Moscow?

Yeah this one is flagged as well. As always. I assume there are people looking at it and just flag it, not because they are not agreeing to it. But they don't want the world to know about it.

Another flagging to silence, as it was with many other news. Why not this one too? It was not looking like the community was particularly concerned about those. Now the jobs these people did might be similar to what this community does, but if you are not willing to see the despair of children with no family, or of people who are starving while food rots across border, how could we expect us to understand this; because one person was using vim as much you were using? I hope none of us are targeted by our resume. Meanwhile we can just ignore this, just as we were ignoring it in the past.

Even an article hosted in united nation's domain, is flagged to death. It's quite astonishing to see this suppression of anything, if it doesn't support one particular narrative. Maybe its better to keep it unflagged, the least that it stays up, without allowing things to go to a flamewar.

This has been posted and flagged multiple times in the past day, but is reposted again by multiple users and even multiple times by the same user.

How much do they actually earn from these? The hardware is already paid for. All the effort to create and maintain the subscription system, and the loss of good will, all for the unknown number of people who would actually buy and keep on renewing it.

I think it is a net loss for all. Except the consultants who recommended this to get a monthly assured income, that will never materialise.
