I suggest you slow down and write cause, effect and solution for everything that seems to be circling repeatedly in your mind when your mind wanders. I also suggest taking a hike or few.
Healthy living, effective analysis, and time is a fix for most problems.
The people working at home will be left out and it won't even be deliberate.
Stop using serde. please.
The one issue that I can see are the low paying companies with simple work related problems to solve requiring LC Hard problem solving skills. They think they're google when they're nothing.
Also, using google trends for this sort of thing with those terms is flawed at best and stupid at worst. Flutter is a generic word. React native is a fairly specific phrase in tech.
I don't think I'll ever be able to convert to using typescript, I'd rather have validators running in the code checking external inputs for the proper fields at runtime before the rest of the system blithely processes whatever it gets due to safe assumptions. Add integration test for specific modules and everything works fine.
I don't want to compile languages that don't need compilation and I don't like the fact that I need to create all of these fake feeling types which are actually just objects rather than javascript classes. It's just feels like boilerplate when you could instead include the 'type' that it's supposed to be in the name and look up a validator for that 'type'.
I'm probably wrong, but it really doesn't feel like it.
The hike that the author discusses is just a nature walk with poor footwear. I did St. Olav's way back in 2019. There is no sanctity in hiking. It's just a walk and you either are prepared or aren't.
Social media has given everyone a soap box, a megaphone and a repeater and the ability to piggyback on other people's shouting directly into people's ears and eyes. Do you think this is a good thing? No one is vetting anyone seriously, no one is being consistently judged on their honesty, accuracy, track record or motives.
It's not entirely about being dumb, more and more it's turning out to be about how much time people are able to commit to understanding what they're reading. This is why people are known as experts in the first place. Do you really think everyone is capable enough to handle the highly nuanced planning and decision making necessary for governing millions of people on the balance of thousands of existing laws and regulations?
Sometimes you can't boil information down into something that everyone can understand in a short enough amount of time which would be what is necessary for each person to play a role in democracy. Just like we pay someone to fix our plumbing we should be paying our politicians to figure this stuff out for us.
We don't have the time or attention span. It's impossible.
It's as simple as plugging a spark gap transmitter into the same outlet as the computer. If you want a guarantee just make computer cables with the jammer embedded.
This isn't hard.
