Happened to me many times and that chrome://net-internals/#hsts is not very user-friendly (no feedback if it was successful or if the domain wasn't even there).

Anyway, golden HN thread here

what's your email?

Thanks for sharing. I think Bluesky is pretty interesting (got my invite from Twitter :) )

Same 4x salary, from intern to employee

So we have to be the smartest because it's been 3 months we are investigating an issue :D

Couldn't we have a Reddit alternative? (I also want a LinkedIn alternative)

lol I use uBlock Origin

would you pay on checkout.stripe.com?

Looked really cool but the search in the map for buying homes doesn't work

Doesn't work for me, I'm on Chrome, no adblockers (disabled uBlock), maybe it's because I said no to tracking

Stack Overflow has links with user id, I think this will continue to work https://stackoverflow.com/a/70506056/12544391

I have a script called each that executes Ruby on each line of input https://rubygems.org/gems/dorian-each

Twitter, emails, text messages

Scrapped emails from "Who is Hiring?" posts, sent an email to all and got a lot of responses and found a nice company in San Francisco

That UTF-8 url broke my scraper :)

I initially learned Ruby by reading the Wikipedia page for it. But now it doesn't contain any code samples anymore.

Heroku did the same

Maybe there should be a mail2 gem?

Stripe uses Ruby without Rails

I would recommend not using `includes` but using `joins`, `eager_load`, or `preload` depending on what you want to do. It's more explicit.

Great to see a post from a colleague at thoughtbot

Blew my mind, makes so much sense

I've used this gem for rails apps https://github.com/cedarcode/webauthn-ruby

Love it but quite expensive, probably a niche market at this price.

Wouldn't you still not be able to post the link as it's hitting the same servers/API?

Best part is "Note: I do not read the orange site."
