I've been using Things on iOS for a long time and I should say their desktop pricing for me is worth the money and investment. I understand its pricey because it is just a one time payment. As a father, husband and dev juggling between work and family it is just a task to keep up with everything.

This is awesome. I too work on mobile app development. I started on Java way back where I use Eclipse IDE for Android development. Then the transition to Android Studio, I remember I was an early AS adopter around version 0.8. Then I started Swift also the same as you, around 2014. Then another transition to Kotlin. I am not sure if I'm a niche programmer but I want to stay in this lane until I get old and for me as someone who's approaching 40 this is a little bit worrying. But reading your story is awesome and gave me hope.

I wonder what about the third world countries with weak cyber policies.

Around 4/5 years ago I saw their Facebook page and was surprised with the bad reviews. And here we are, companies are still using Atlassian.

I wrote a silly Python script https://github.com/lawgimenez/isitmybirthdayyet just for the fun of it. To check if this day is my birthday.

https://lwgmnz.me/ Nothing fancy, but where I'm from coding/technical blogs are very kinda rare. I mainly talk about mobile development. Thank you for visiting.

Awesome answer thanks! Can I follow you on GitHub.

I won't make it without Fantastical and Things. With family, kids and coding hobby projects it is just difficult for everything to be organized without this tools.

Anything badass...

Too late.

This was my favorite game back then! Thank you!

I’m from the Philippines and first time I read someone commented about our cries. Haha!

In my country there is a cancel subscription button. I canceled and renewe twice already. I’m in Philippines.

This is why offline mode is very important. But they prioritized API instead.

Yeah hey’s been usable enough, been using it since the early invites. It has some pretty neat features that I can’t find on regular email. Also, I can post my hey email publicly because I can filter it before it goes to my Imbox. But it is kinda slow but I’m hoping it will improve by version 2.0 or 3.0.

2 years ago my post went viral here and someone from Google contacted me on LinkedIn, I’ll find him asap.

Edited: I have his Google email but I’m not sure if I can post it here. Email me instead at lawgimenez@hey.com

The next Tiktok but on a shoestring budget

Wow the Reddit website is painfully slow.

Season 1 was one of the best series I've seen in TV. I'm not sure if the rest of the season lives up to it. Or I could be wrong. I remember the start of Season 2 was kinda slow.

Yeah I can’t remember any rapper who trended on HN. Made me glad as well.

There won't be another artist like him, his rhymes are legendary.

I can do a PIP on Netflix by tapping in volume icon on the Safari search bar.

They were hacked by kids on Discord.

What is your Mac Mini specs right now if you don’t mind me asking

Oh it's 14 eyes now. Germany is still in there.

Germany is part of the five eyes if I remember correctly.

Because of Rappler’s arrogance.

My last 3 clients wanted me to rewrite their React Native apps back to native iOS and Android like in a separate codebase. I’m not sure if this is a trend but their common complaint was that they are sick of the performance of the app and each platfrom has a unique bug. Also this one project written in RN took like a year to develop.

Are there any black astronauts?
