I’m from Philippines and Facebook is huge here. Very huge and a bit of concerning because telcos (which are a monopoly here) has free mobile data for users and tons of fake news get reposted. Facebook has also been used as a political tool here.

During the last 2016 automated elections here in the Philippines, the company responsible for it was Smartmatic and just found out their source code was licensed by Dominion.

Now finding out that Dominion's equipments mentioned here is a little bit worrying. There was also an incident during our elections hours before a voting machine was accessed just because they have to change a single letter. It is still disturbing to this day.

On my MBP 2012 on every boot up the screen will flicker and I guess this is just old age and normal? I guess this is the last update on 2012 model.

Also noticed the resolution is a little bit brighter and nicer for an old MBP.

I have been using AS since the first beta came out and every release it is just getting worst and slow on 16GB RAM.

While Xcode on the other hand 3-4 years ago it was liked developed by interns. But Xcode 9-10 has been very fast and less buggy on my 16GB.

Developing for Android is not fun anymore for me. It is getting bloated.

I run GitLab on my server and it is just too slow, sometimes I get a 503. I hope they take a look at this asap.

I wonder is dark mode is coming to iOS 12 in later updates because it is awkward to go back and forth with Mojave and iOS.

I updated to Ghost 2.0 last night and did not end well, though I managed to fix it by going to a sunken place looking for ghost.service. Hopefully in the next update it would be more stable.

Also, one more thing I would like Ghost to improve is there SEO. My website hosted on DO is just 2-3 pages behind. Some of my posts don't even make it even the obvious meta and title.

Right now, I am on @icloud.com and since Apple is easy to migrate from one device to another I believe this is a nice fresh start.

In the future maybe I will try Protonmail but since it requires a "bridge" for paid accounts, maybe I will look into it in the near future.

You can try Airmail or Edison Mail for iOS. I find it much appealing than Gmail app
