Android Studio is 1.28Gb memory right now on my MBP. I bet this is normal and is way more memory hog than the previous version.

Why are you still on Mojave? If I may ask

Just updated my 2012 MBP. So far still alive.

Can someone enlighten me who and what is rainbowtabl.es?

I used to use NNW but one time my 2 year old kid just did a one quick swipe on my phone’s screen while NNW is open and just deleted the whole content. I’m not sure what gesture made it happen but I switched back to Feedly.

I’m a nytimes subscriber and it would be nice if they were no ads.

I mean look at Telegram. I wonder why big companies can’t follow with all them dollars.

I have apps using WKWebView should I be worried?

I have an app on the App Store that uses WKWebView, should I be worried?

Was an avid contributor to the site way back (I even won there contest back then with tumbler and shirt swag) but the site is very hostile now. SO took a very long time to address this one but now it is too little too late. Very arrogant of them.

Any response from Microsoft?

Here is the link to my resume: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1DRdekk5dVmxudGL2IQBwMqIJIS... and it contains all the link to my past works on both iOS and Android.

I’m a dad of a 10 month little dude and sacrificed a high paying Senior job so I can focus on him growing up and help with my wife with all the baby and house chores.

Sometimes I wonder if I made the right choice because finding part time or freelance gigs are kinda hard right now. But at the end of the day I know I made the right decision because my little boy is just gonna be young once and I don’t want to miss out on his milestones and growth.

It took them 2019 to figure this out?

Their iOS is still slow. I am on a Fiber connection and everytime I open Spotify it displays “no connection”.

Not secured on the browser

I still use PayPal frequently because it is more convenient for my client to pay me in USD. And since the banks in my country have poor online transactions implementation, PayPal can really help. But take note,

PayPal will hold your amount for months if you are new to them, because you need “cred” to be able to use their service.

I’m a freelancer and I keep track of my finance by using iOS Numbers default app. I switched to Airtable but it is too slow on the iOS and their offline caching sucks.

I have an existing GitLab hosted on DO, what are the chances of migrating to Enterprise Edition?

I have been developing for the Android platform since 2011 and Swift since it came out of beta. I have been part of several international startups and software development teams.

Been working remote since 2016. You can check me at https://lawgimenez.me

I wonder what’s the majority of the source code in German like? Is it mostly in English or German?

We used React Native back then when it first came out. Surprisingly the problems that exists back then, still exists today like red error screen, slow TableView scroll, upgrading RN problems.

It is too late for Facebook because a lot of high profile startups are moving away from it. When you release something like this and then have the OSS deal with it and not responed to PRs for several months and years, it leaves a bad taste.

I have been a GitLab CE user for several months now, hosted on my own server. And I agree the performance is not really good compared to GitHub. I know improvements like this is a huge challenge for you guys. But it’s been several years already since you guys said you are about to deal with performance issues.

Time to save up for a new MBP, my 2012 model is still working fine but I'm guessing Apple will end its support by 2020.

But will they actually be affordable enough?

I’m from PH and we don’t feel we were run by a Junta or dictator as what you westeners like. We can criticize him online, publicly and go on with our lives. Duterte has several critics on newspaper, radio, online etc. Ressa broke the law and does not mean she’s excempted from it.

Recently I've been asking more programming help on Reddit because I get more friendly response there compared to Stackoverflow.

Spotify has a really crap mobile app both iOS and macOS.
