Hi, from what I read the linkerd proxy allow to supervise response stats (latency, error rate). In kubernetes you didn't have global proxy stats. It's a circuit breaker and you can connect with other service with different protocols (http,rpc) without have to know what protocol other service use. I didn't have tested linkerd yet but I noticed this points. I think it's really useful when you have micro services

You can't use iCloud as backend for other platforms. If you like to port your iOS app for android you cannot use the same backend. It's a major restriction if you wish to extend your app in other devices.

I not tested on iOs devices but https://www.codebox.io/ is interesting IDE and it's open source if you want install it on your server.

It's an active option by default. Many people does not use web panel to disable options.
