The strongest predictor for crime is poverty.
deadbunny··on 500k facial scans at UK stations yield no arrests, 1 false positive
Most town centres are 90% boarded up forgotten realms. They have been in decline for decades, blaming it on people riding e-scooters and illegal e-motorcycles is laughable.

> Flock is simply the public saying we don't trust the government in being able to keep us safe, so lets hire AI to do it.

This speaks volumes on the state of the US.

deadbunny··on US sanctions force The Netherlands off Microsoft and toward alternative NixOS
Why is the US chosing to lose basically every war they've been involved in since WWII?
deadbunny··on US sanctions force The Netherlands off Microsoft and toward alternative NixOS
"We could win the wars if we wanted to"

The US has been getting their shit rocked by people in sandals for the better part of 70 years.

There are some preservation efforts on a couple of the big movie trackers. One is "donate Xtb of space and use this script to manage it" so you don't choose the torrents, they get assigned till your donated space is full.

In Another gives bonuses for adopting torrents where the original seeder doesn't want to/can't seed anymore.

Neither are perfect but as one of those 1 in 1000 its nice to help where I can.

deadbunny··on Disney+ and Hulu raise prices by up to 13 percent after doubling profits
A day or so of setup (if you're completely new) and you'll need a usenet sub (recommended) or torrent site (or sites, quality may vary on open trackers) but the *arr stack can be automated[1] to make sure you have the best quality versions of each episode/movie fairly easily.

deadbunny··on LG TVs caught spying even when offline or on standby
If they form a mesh and route traffic via one TV that acts as an exit node you can check the packet TTLs.
deadbunny··on LG TVs caught spying even when offline or on standby
This would be trivial to test and detect. Just like every claim that TVs will connect to open WiFi networks if you don't connect them to a network. Yet after years of these claims and being extremely trivial to test not a single shred of evidence has ever been provided.
deadbunny··on LG TVs caught spying even when offline or on standby

deadbunny··on 216M Spy TVs – The LG Smart TV Problem [video]
I'm not the one claiming TVs actively spoof their MAC address. Its on the person making claims to provide evidence.
deadbunny··on 216M Spy TVs – The LG Smart TV Problem [video]
Its always speculation that would be trivial to actually test.

1. Do not connect to network 2. Create unauthenticated WiFi network 3. Monitor WiFi network

Strange no one has ever done this simple af test to backup their claims

deadbunny··on Dwarf Fortress is getting the mother of all magic updates
Claiming the game of systems and their interactions is not complete or compelling because it doesn't hold you hand is laughable.

Not everything has to be made or everyone, in fact I would argue that is exactly the reason games these days are bland and identical.

Press "F" to pay respects.
