darkhorn··on Airlines are charging solo passengers higher fares than groups
What is next? Charge iPhone users more than Android users? Charge users with email address on custom domain more than on free emails? Charge Jews more than Mexicans?

You go to a bakery and he charges more because you wear a suit. You go to Europe, a guy in front of you buys a bread for €1, but same bread is €3 because you are tourist? Then you go to buy a toilet paper and same thing happens again because your ass is worth more?

darkhorn··on Why am I searched every time I go to Australia?
I started to read the article. Then I thought "may be he is working with cryptography and that is why he is searched". And a sentence or two later he writes "Advanced Mathematics" and then "GPS". I think that is why he is being searched.

Similarly the developer of curl was not able to obtain USA visa.

darkhorn··on Europe is trying to leave Starlink behind
Because the USA is a big economy where people speak only one language. Would Elon Musk be able to create same success if he started Starlink or SpaceX in Norway?
darkhorn··on Europe is trying to leave Starlink behind
What do you mean by superior output?

darkhorn··on Turkish university annuls Erdogan rival's degree, preventing run for president
Democracy doesn't work when ordinary people are not educated. Education in Turkey has been very poor. Many people have finished only 5th or 8th grades. Many didn't go to a high school. Thus people are not critical thinkers. They are voting as if they are supporting a football team. Someone popular with a low education can fool people, just like in Turkey or Venezuella. And now here we see the result. Erdoğan has no diploma and he is trying to keep his seat by doing everything.

Would you mind your money in the bank managed by illeterate person? Or would you mind going to a doctor without any degree? Why you are going to trust somone who does not have legal degree?

In my opinion university degree is not enough. He should have at least masters degree.

Why it is a wow?
darkhorn··on US Ends Support For Ukrainian F-16s
More self-reliant like North Korea?
darkhorn··on US Ends Support For Ukrainian F-16s
Definatly going to happen for critical infrastructure, especially when there is a Russian asset at the head of the States.
darkhorn··on US Ends Support For Ukrainian F-16s
Then why USA was defending those countries in first place? Only for goodwill?
darkhorn··on Why can't we remember our lives as babies or toddlers?
Same awakening moment happened to me. I was in the edge of a big bed and I was not able to move. And there were (our) wardrops on the other side of the room (later they were moved out). I remember that there was notning much to remember before that and I realized that I was small and new in this world.
darkhorn··on Why can't we remember our lives as babies or toddlers?
It is interesting that many people do not remember events when they were two years old. But much more interesting that some people do not believe that there are people who can remember events from age two.

I cannot give statistics but I think viruses in the sea are for marine life and mostly they don't target humans. Also we are already inhaling lots of viruses.
darkhorn··on Why is Cloudflare Pages' bandwidth unlimited?
I tried to build a static site using Cloudflare but it didn't build. I went back to Netlify.
darkhorn··on Why was there a wall near runway at S Korea plane crash airport?
Nice questions. But it doesn't give them right to build a concrete obstacle for lights, when it is possible to make it without hard obstacle.

darkhorn··on Trump wins presidency for second time
We let it go with two land parts in Georgia. Then he attacked Ukraine. Now, if we let it go with land parts Putin will attack again.
darkhorn··on Trump wins presidency for second time
Solution to your problems is not Trump. I lived in totaliterain an authocratic regimes. He has similar tendencies. He is going to screw not only America's economy but also the whole world's economy. He is not going to solve your problems but his own problems. Just like Erdoğan and Putin he doesn't care about ordinary people. When you think that it cannot get any more bad it will get more bad. I lived in totaliterian an authocratic regimes.
darkhorn··on Turkish language has a gossip tense
Thank you for your English/Latvian centric language perspective but there are lots of different tenses in different languages. They are not tought as moods. All are tenses.

You can read Turkish or Bulgarian grammer books. They all are tenses. There is no such thing as mood.

darkhorn··on Turkish language has a gossip tense
In the news they use "known past tense", like "gel-di". The article above mentiones "learned past tense", like "gel-miş".
darkhorn··on Turkish language has a gossip tense
For first time I hear it as "gossip tense". Actually it is "a tense that you did not witness yourself" or officially "learned past tense".
darkhorn··on Why Is Light So Fast?
I didn't find why.

When you make a wave with a rope or on a water the speed of the wave is formed by the speed of the interaction of the molecules in it. I believe similar thing happens with the light in subatomic level. There, may be the spped of light is limited on how fast an higs boson interacts with the neighbpring higs bosons.

Oh, Jesus Christ! Why they don't write sugary yogurt? I forgot that Americans were consuming yogurt with sugar. Normally there is no sugar in the yogurt. There is sugar only if you add it. In the Balkans and Central Asia yogurt is sold without adding sugar.
