cswelin··on Getting phpBB 1.4.4 working in Docker
I used to spend hours just adding mods to random boards that i would just delete later on.
cswelin··on SwiftUI After 7 Years
> The latest is NavigationStack, which is still pathetic. The only way to navigate more than a level deep is to create an array of one datatype to serve as NavigationStack's "path." But this is designed to be an array of a single datatype. Look at the examples for this thing: They're applications that present a stack of views that each show... an INTEGER. In decades, I have never written an application that needed to stack up a pile of views that all show the same datatype.

You should probably read more of the documentation than looking at examples, "to create an array of one datatype" its far from the truth. NavigationPath can be use to route to more than one type https://developer.apple.com/documentation/swiftui/navigation...

cswelin··on Passkeys were invented by engineers with zero understanding of consumer brain
I find passkeys.. ill say interesting.

I can have the most complex password and create a passkey, but a windows machine could allow a 4 pin digit to access the passkey.

cswelin··on MacBook Pro Repair Extension Program for Video Issues
sadly the senior support support guy told me since it doesn't clearly state "graphic problems or random reboots" there's a good chance his request will be denied.

Didn't take it in during those problem since it "worked" and was out of warranty, but did when that last reboot wouldn't 'reboot'.

Lesson learned :S

Wonder if they will still reimburse me. They only noted "Computer will not turn on and there are no signs of power" for the repair, since I didn't take it in until the logic board died (did reboot randomly, and random colours on the screen).

17 Days later I had another repair on the new part for "Mac shuts down unexpectedly during use with battery".

Think my bill was around $600-$800 for the logic board replacement.

cswelin··on AMD reveals its first ARM processor: 8-core Opteron A1100
Those are all old sources, if I recall correctly AMD spun off there fabs to GlobalFoundries then recently divest their stake.
cswelin··on Adium Redesigned
I'm curious, I know Adium uses a webview to implement their chat window. How would one do this without a webview? that reacts the same (text selection only)? does Messages use a webview as well?
