I have not heard a single doctor talk about microdosing THC as a cure for ADHD and I wonder if my experience is coincidental or there’s really something there?
> it: That still attributes two claims to SI that SI does not make. `KB` is not reserved for 1,024 bytes, and `KiB` is the standardized binary symbol.
> me: where does it say that SI reserves KB?
> it: Nowhere. You said *KiB* was SI-standardized; you did not say SI reserves *KB*. I misread your sentence and argued against a claim you did not make.
It was correct to point me out on my mistake in essence, but still misunderstood my bracketed "(alongside the SI-standardized KiB)" sentence.
Sure, it wasn't a grammar mistake as such, more like a logical one, but it still shouldn't make it. I had more than one such issues already with it, this one was most pronounced.
What it interesting, though, is the number of corporate apologists my comment brought in. It's like it doesn't matter how many times OpenAI and Anthropic have botched some of the models while keeping the branding, some people would still die on that apologist hill.
UN has no such power. I am still amazed how people do not get this.
Members need to vote for such things to happen. It wouldn't, not in this climate.
Unironiclly, I think the US can be called one, too, at this point.
From my today's session with Sol:
- it actually failed to correctly understand a simple English grammar and logical implication of it, then when challenged it admitted its mistake but couldn't explain why it made it.
- for the code I am working on, I asked to create two PRs for the two small features (couple lines of code). It created one in upstream, as intended, and other one in my own fork. Just like that, out of nowhere, and called the job done.
- it said it would ask me to approve/amend the suggested PR message, it never did and fired off right away
- it keeps forgetting the changes it did itself; no context compaction was used
- it said it tested the change visually, but it did not even try
- hallucinated several facts despite me asking beforehand to check online.
On top of that, it ignores all of my AGENTS.md, which is short and concise. I mean I point it at ignoring it, it acknowledges and ignores again.
This is astonishingly bad and it is nowhere close to what Sol 5.6 was a month ago.
I can't deal with this sh*t anymore, I have no trust in the tools I use and both OpenAI and Anthropic do the same thing.

This is astonishingly bad and it is nowhere close to Sol 5.6, or even DeepSeek 4.1! I swear even Gemini 3.8 is slightly better.
To me, Sol6 is what Opus5 was for Claude.
I keep saying that with self-hosting, you at least know what to expect and don't have to trust they nerf their models as they go. I was a skeptic and considered nerfing a conspiracy theory, but at this point with enough experience, I have experienced enough to fully see this being a thing.
Probably only a matter of time before some class action happens.
They would get the same wages earned on the workload surplus coming from employed immigrants in place of nomads. They also use the same services plus pay income salary. That's the whole point discussed here. Skilled immigration is better than glorified tourism.
And it's not like US has companies doing own manufacturing outside of Intel. CHIPS specifically wanted to address that.
This only works to some extent, because, again, you can't subsidize budget with VAT only. And a person who is a bona fide employed immigrant still pays more tax in place of "just" a nomad.
Sorry, but your logic is flawed here.
Am I missing something here?
Also, I happen to be familiar with NotJustBikes, watch regularly. I don't see this as the same kind of problem. What you explained is clearly BROKE. What we're talking about works just fine and migration to newer technology doesn't provide advantages outside easier maintenance. It can't be justifies by costs, either.
Same reason why MTA in NYC still operates subway using 100 y/o signaling hardware on most of the lines.
In a way, your comment and the responses you get is a perfect allegory to inexperienced vs experienced engineering.
