How about the Internet of Turds? It keeps both the initials and the flavour.
chuchana··on The Power of Prolog
I know it's not Prolog, but since you mention Lisp: have you checked out Screamer (https://nikodemus.github.io/screamer/)?

Do you know what kind of synth you are looking for?

The Disting Ex [0] Eurorack module contains nice ones and supports MPE. You'd also need a PSU [1] for it.

chuchana··on It's 2023, so of course I'm learning Common Lisp
> If f and g are in the same file, where g calls f, then implementations are not required to allow f and go to be separately redefinable. So that is to say, if f is redefined only, the existing g may keep calling the old f. The intent is that redefinition has the granularity of compiled files: if a new version of the entire compiled file is loaded, then f and g get redefined together and all is cool.

This isn't the default behaviour though, right?

It being required by law does not guarantee that it's possible.

I'm pretty sure I cannot sideload on iOS, unless you count using a free developer account to load self-compiled applications whose certificates are only valid for a few days.

chuchana··on The Yamaha NS10 Story (2008)
> "My mix sounds great on these hi-fi speakers — let me see if it also translates well to my ("crappier") NS10s!"

The NS10 have an excellent transient response according to some paper I read. Probably the one linked in the article.

> Modern streaming services will recompress songs to a common standard, negating all of the loudness war stuff, but I haven't looked at new releases to see if heavy compression is still common practice on the master releases but I'd assume they still do it because practices change slowly.

I assume good mastering engineers create dedicated masters for each major streaming service because of their different requirements.

> People of MQA surely have pointy ears like mr Spock.

I don't know about their ears but their marketing sure smells like it's been through a herd of bulls:

> Q. Is MQA lossless?

> A. It's better than lossless!

I'm pretty sure they used to claim the format was lossless instead of just implying something around those lines by using what they call a "lossless file" as a "digital container".

chuchana··on Why I stopped using an external monitor
I remember reading a paper that analysed the Yamaha NS10 and came to the conclusion that they were not just some shitty speakers but actually had some exceptional qualities like their transient response. It probably was the one linked in this article: https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/yamaha-ns10-story
