Yes 7.5% is more than nothing. I'm trying to figure though if that number is low or high. What do you think based on this information? What does your gut say?

Yes, Strava phone app. I don't have the fancy smancy garmins/power meters/etc. Does it show though on a Garmin when you enter a segment if you are running Strava?
And 'Pedal force vs. cadence', does this reveal where weak spots are in your stroke? Also does it show you your optimal cadence, based on speed and duration of ride. I think that would be great information to have.
Also, with strava I'd love to see when different sections are starting and ending so I know exactly when to gas it and stop, perhaps even how I'm progressing as I'm riding. This is pretty unrelated though to this app.
Yes, setting up your site based on broad or long tail terms is good foundation...but you can rank your site for words that aren't even on your site. Why do you think disney ranks for 'exit' and 'leave'? http://blog.searchmetrics.com/us/2011/04/14/the-evolution-of...
How do I get others to participate? Any thoughts?
I was thinking of getting a sponsor to provide a prize to the winner every week.
So, a correct use would be like "Don't worry, our national debt is only 25 Lehmans."
Also, it would be important to be able to see who is helping the most and how much more they are helping than others. Did you address this as well?
Thanks for your comments about kickstarter. I think we are in the same boat but just interested in what others are doing.
So, national press doesn't mean like a "national" site...just lots of people all across the place. I think the tweets by Scoble probably are a lot better for buying street cred though.
I'll check out this site. We are all meeting this week and this will be something we'll be talking about (lawyer/legal stuff)
