DoD was compromised, senate, most major defense contractors. It took them weeks to figure out what happened and then only with the assistance of the entire world. Ancillary compromises that persist in an untraceable state within these networks are probably in the dozens.
At this point It's fairly obvious knowledge the government is ripe with corruption and self service (we call it 'red tape' and 'partisan bickering'). And corporations write law.
Social services may save you, may ignore you, or may kill you.
It is impossible to live a basic life without a government ID and an internet connection.
Avoiding government taxes will get you longer in jail than harming a child.
Cars required for moving about unless you want to be robber or ran over and require a contract with a private company to couch for you.
Healthcare isn't obtainable without a private corporation to fund or facilitate the interaction.
A plant is a class 1 drug.
Whistleblowers regularly plea for help which never arrives from the supposed government meant to protect and represent them.
Fortunately someone recently posted a real technological wonder - the F-14 cpu, old timers were messing with multithreaded compute while I was muddling along learning pong line by line from a hobbyist magazine.
The issue here is a company insistent on building toys, tools, and appliances which all contain military grade surveillance and data metrics systems that require a connection to DJI servers in order to function.
While I am no proponent of the US hypocrisy regarding digital freedoms; you need not bother auditing a company that has had half a decade to demonstrate they aren't an arm of if a foreign surveillance state yet actively release software with even more aggressive phone home functions.

Progress towards this type of initiative + ubiquitous AI integration are the reason I hoard old tech.

As for noise I feel like you should at least mention the "Shroud" and baffle have nothing to do with the noise reduction - the fans are 50% larger, require 1/3 the rotational speed(I did no calculation beyond personal experience math nazis) and have no baffle at all.
