As for it being "hacked", _most likely_ you wouldn't know until your hacked data was made public or the company disclosed it.

I don't know if i'd go as far as saying it is the "holy grail", however, I do see your point. For sure it allows propaganda, misinformation, and lies to be disseminated at a very fast pace.
The reason why I come back to HN, is for the articles, and also the comments on the articles. I find some of the articles to be quite interesting, and informative.
I also really like to read the comments on articles. Sometimes I wind up reading the comments first.

If I sleep 4 to 5 hours I am equally as productive as when I sleep 7 to 8 hours however I can only keep that up for a couple days, before loss of productivity.
Indeed. Certain institutions will not even consider a candidate who has not gone to a top tier University AND graduated with 3.5 or greater, unless of course they have some sort of connection with someone working at that institution.

I wonder what (if anything) the 13F means for a company like RenTech. Who knows how long they hold positions for (minute or less, or days and beyond), perhaps this could have just been a snapshot of an instant, or no?
I ask this, since humans apparently do not trade there, they are not like a more traditional fund like Appaloosa, where humans decide when to get in/out of a position.
