I'm pretty sure they can't because NBC owns the rights to everything and won't let anyone else touch them.

That would kind of cut out the campus bookstore, wouldn't it?

Not that I've heard, and it'd be easy to mistake the current options on the iPhone for that. They haven't launched the push service yet (they claim September so let's say January) and right now the phone has an option under "fetch new data" to poll every 15 minutes.

By accident? Sorry! But I'd also like to be able to save articles without upvoting them.

AT&T loves money too much to be sensible about getting it?

That would be great because it would ensure the must-have mods like Rocket Arena get in, but not let every-mod-and-his-brother fragment the neat community they have going.

I believe quake live makes you install a browser plug-in that's basically the game engine.

When using a textbook it's also helpful to be able to search for a word or phrase. Besides, the Kindle right now isn't bad, and this is the FutureKindle that doesn't have any flaws yet.

I was going to say I was skeptical of textbook publishers liking this, but there are no used book sales on the Kindle!

8: This is Ubuntu's fault. Addons will be more available for firefox 3 after firefox 3 is released. Amazing!

6: I think the intention is to make a page with these problems look broken, protecting Bob Average from attack sites. Also, it lets the problem stay more within the current tab. Having context for errors is awesome, and being interrupted isn't.

5&3: didn't xforms get some major change too late in the development of firefox 3? And Acid 3 came way too late for the gecko version being used.

7&4: Yes the preferences are cluttered, and about:config options often require way more explanation than a single line before you know if you should be changing them (no).

"Enable pipelining? Sure! Max connections? This will make my pages load faster! -O9 -funroll-loops -f2fast2furious -fomit-frame-pointer? Rad!"

How do you feel about dispensing birth control?

I've never had that problem, did quicktime do something terrible to you? Point to this doll of your mime types, and show me where the bad man touched you.

Eh, it's better this way when the options aren't mutually exclusive.

I'd murder someone if they made the search box in Google Reader grab keyboard focus. Keyboard shortcuts are way more important, and '/' focuses the search there, anyway.

Maybe he can be the ESR of Web 2.0 then?

so, how ashamed should I be that I just checked for some haskell on my fresh leopard install?

Yeah, I was considering signing up for an account to see if there was a preference for that. Brilliant!

His point was that female programmers aren't superior to male ones. Remember he quoted "women are better programmers because they have less ego". Which is a huge load on both counts.
