bumpa··on How I write HTTP services in Go after 13 years
The encode example contains a bug and a lint issue. Firstly, calling w.Header().Set after w.WriteHeader is likely a bug, as the w.WriteHeader method call should occur after setting the headers.

The second issue involves passing an unused *http.Request, which will likely cause the linter to flag it.

bumpa··on GitHub Copilot is generally available
I got this free access. Tried to figure how to request this "Verified" status, whatever it means, but github seems to set it automatically and notified me "you are eligible to use GitHub Copilot for free". I'm not sure how exactly they do it and what defines "the most popular open source projects". The most popular repo (by stars) I have is with 3k stars. Apparently it is enough, not sure.
bumpa··on Prevent duplicate cron job running
I have made a simple "cron with extras" project https://github.com/umputun/cronn handling duplication issue as well as a bunch of other things, like restarting failed jobs, jitter, automatic reload and so on.
bumpa··on Remark42: Self-Hosted, Lightweight Comment Engine
The model it uses is non-relational and KV store was a better fit
bumpa··on Remark42: Self-Hosted, Lightweight Comment Engine
I meant server-side rendering for the web. Remark42 exposing all functionality via API and any alternative frontend can be made. I know someone doing android SDK for this. Not sure about ios side.
bumpa··on Remark42: Self-Hosted, Lightweight Comment Engine
Making such a frontend for remark42 with complete server-side rendering should be possible. In fact, even now the backend doing a lot of this, for example comments preview rendered this way.

bumpa··on Strongsync – Host your own Dropbox using only SFTP or S3
Very beta-like (or even pre-beta), bad looking version. In my 15minutes test by just removing file from the local folder during sync I caused a full stop for any sync operations. Restart didn't help, the only way to "fix" it was to remove data store on SFTP side and re-connect clients. Sync speed is low (seems to be limited to something around 3MB/s, on LAN). All operations seem to be sequential. Integration with Finder just a joke, most time it doesn't refresh green/orange badge automatically. From time to time client shows odd messages like "over limit, upgrade plan" (what limit?, what plan?). In my opinion - doesn't worth any money yet. I'll stay with btsync for sync and seafile for dropbox-like.
