What is this?
Summary: don't type in Claude anything you wouldn't like a human to read.
Some of this seems subjective.
This is HN mentality. But it is not how it always works. The first thought isn't we can make more money tomorrow by building more faster. It is we can make more money today by laying off all the people that we don't need now. Short-termism is the rule.
Maybe you are not looking in the right place. Maybe your expectations are not right. Maybe the revolution isn't a super app but a mini app. Not an app with code written so beautifully it could win a Pulitzer but an app that will be used a couple of times and then discarded.
I am trying to offer an alternate viewpoint (I don't necessarily support it but I thought it was needed).
Not every user of Claude is a programmer. Or even exclusively a worker. Claude has uses beyond work. Something that many in HN struggle to understand.
I sympathise with you. I do feel that consultancy and freelance had always had this issue where bad practices in client systems introduced by careless people ended in your shores when clients phone you asking for help. This used to happen with poorly maintained codebases or broken implemented projects done by competitors. Most potential customers are likely to be past or future victims of careless rivals of yours. Is it sustainable for you to ignore past customers that were victims of careless rivals?
I am not judging here just curious about your thoughts on this.
'Move fast and break things' is the ultimate Silicon Valley motto.

For some values of [tool], this is right. Question, is it true for this particular value?
This was literally Mullvad's response to one of their CEO being the main founder of a party with some peculiar views.
You don't have ANY money? Plenty of students would do a great job for a little money and a professional reference. Now you just helped the workforce, helped the local economy and cost you little.
Actually, use it now.
Of course, it does. Google is no longer afraid to spit on open source. People happy to use Chromium features better remember this. You are renting everything and your landlord will soon come demanding it back.
