So there are no studies that show the elder lose their mental abilities?
bornonline1··on Parents in poorer countries devote more time to their kids' homework
Again the issue is how we learn. Short sessions show some effects but homeworks are very tedious and put a lot of pressure on everyone.
bornonline1··on How to build a house alone [video]
Most mass builds are built like this

bornonline1··on Brains Cling to Old Habits When Learning New Tricks
I'm still not convinced learning a 2 language is harder, even as an adult. I now know 3 and if you put some effort and time (or even better get immersed) you will learn it. Children have YEARS of amazing immersion, adult patience and care. Who wouldn't learn a language in such fertiile conditions.

As for the accent which i have, i don't know yet. I will try to correct it and see how it goes.

bornonline1··on To Change Habits, Try Replacement Instead
I would swap 'laziness' to rest. We think we need to do a lot of things purely because we tell ourselves that, or we put ourselves in expensive environments.
bornonline1··on To Change Habits, Try Replacement Instead
Have you tried doing nothing?
bornonline1··on The Key to Good Luck Is an Open Mind
That's why i refuse introvert or extrovert titles. I can be different in varied situations.
bornonline1··on Sudan, last male northern white rhino, dies in Kenya
Do you understand how useless humans are?
bornonline1··on “Pinterest needs to be removed from Google IMO”
No because of i Google 'dragon ball' , Pinterest spans "top 40 dragon ball images" and not just one clickbait, but 20. My search is filled with clickbait. If i press the link, the images are behind the login wall. Also all of their images are stolen from other websites. So it becomes impossible to find the source when all you see is clickbait.
bornonline1··on “Pinterest needs to be removed from Google IMO”
I agree with you. You have to log in to every single website for the 'personalization sake'. I hate personalization and the login.
bornonline1··on Australia could become first country to eradicate cervical cancer
All of these work because of language in the first place. It's a technology.
bornonline1··on New Giant Viruses Further Blur the Definition of Life
Analogies are fun. The internet could be described as a brain. It performs many functions that affect real life, the information links and tags itself between different parts etc.
bornonline1··on Here Come the Fake Videos, Too
On all sides, your side will always seem more innocent and correct despite evidence. We live in a very messy and dirty world.

bornonline1··on Smartphone sales fall for the first time, says Gartner
There is nothing stopping you from using only these three options now. Your problems are in your head.
bornonline1··on Smartphone sales fall for the first time, says Gartner
Amazing how easy it is to make people accept horrible options.
bornonline1··on A Simple Algorithm That Ants Use to Build Bridges
'we will learn from super AI' you mean the AI will learn on their own for their own purposes, while humans dwindle to extinction
bornonline1··on Arctic temperatures soar 25 degrees above normal in the dead of winter
Climate works slowly when there aren't a billion cars and other industry. A visible analogy is the reduction of animals and plants due to human activity.

A warmer weather is an 'unknown'. We have trouble with EVERYTHING. We hardly know anything atm with the stable environment so a whole new challenge of future planet might be just to much. It is already to much.

bornonline1··on The usefulness of dread
Useful to an extent.
bornonline1··on Crazy new Swedish bill makes sharing music and TV as bad a “crime” as manslaughter
Music had physical copies. But with the internet, all physicality was lost. That's what cost the decimation.
bornonline1··on Peace and quiet is all about the noise in your head
The comment did not imply the expectation for the city to be quiet. But once arrived, they discovered the city to be loud. It seems like you misunderstood the point.
bornonline1··on UK government should give £10K to every citizen under 55, a report suggests
You shouldn't have used UBI in the title
