Scallion pancake with pork belly is one of my favorite combos :-)
i find this "better the devil you know" mindset really weird when the "devil you know" is an extremely infectious virus that has killed _three hundred thousand_ americans (not to mention more worldwide), and thousands more by the day.
these hypothetical vaccine side effects that have not come up during any of the trials that have been going on for _months_, across thousands and thousands of participants, would have to be pretty insanely bad in order to outweigh the negatives of millions more people contracting the actual virus.
what exactly would you call phase 3 trials for the various vaccines that were done on thousands/tens of thousands of people?
covid can do/does plenty of nasty things to "non vulnerable" people besides kill them
can anyone clue me in on whether that second part is as batshit crazy as it sounds?
both are true
worked just fine for penicillin during world war 2
even very intelligent people tend to suck at estimating/weighting risks
homebuying is probably near a worst-case scenario for this because it's
1. one of the biggest purchases most people can ever make
2. loaded with emotion, cultural norms, and other things that make it very easy to make bad/risky choices
> even shaving 10 years off that time frame will net you a lot back in your pocket to invest and make money on it
what about just investing it in the first place instead of paying down extra on the mortgage?
why pay extra on 3% (or less!) debt to free up cash flow to use for some ~6-10% investment when you can just take the extra from step 1 and skip right to step 2
i don't see how the OP's take on the mandalorian is at odds with the idea that the people who make it are probably pretty good at their jobs
people unfamiliar with the story might find it interesting that the exact manner of his death is somewhat disputed. obviously he wouldn't have died then if it weren't for the coup, so it's not like what you wrote is really a stretch.
you replied to this with a one-off anecdote to spread fud
