Opiates, you are screwed, meth, there is Adderal or Ritalin, ( All these probably have had their names changed by now to something else ), if you like cocaine, then an SNRI may be better for you. Anxiety, ideally they lighten up and give you a benzodiazepine, more than likely you will get a med that was initially a smoking cessation medication.
Psychiatry is a black art, I really almost feel unless you are clinically depressed, schizophrenic, etc, if you are going to be a human medicine dart board, don't, be a human health dartboard. Exercise, diet, etc, but be insanely specific, insanely calculative in what you do if you choose the non-med way, as it is just as much a mystery as are the pills.
All meds have a half life, your taper rate will be based on that and your personal metabolism rate, which can and almost always is altered by the meds themselves.
Further confused that a huge percentage of people who suffer depression need no meds and instead need a thyroid test, and not just a "give blood and see where you were at that moment" test, but a real, pain in the butt, complicated test, which I suspect is why they don't give them as a first line test. I was blown away I was never offered one.
As you get down to the lower doses, it gets harder, some you will have to take to a compounding pharmacy, others you can crush and get a good scale and weigh out what milligram or microgram you need; others, if you feel safe doing so can be taken intranasaly via a Flonase sprayer depending on if the med is water soluble and what the mixed shelf life is, which can be hard data to get at times.
I can say there is no worse kick than Effexor, that is for damn sure, and that was only 2-3 weeks in. That had a permanent change on me for life, instilling a bit of timidness in me regarding certain things that happened as I was detoxing.
Good Luck, hope you get off them and manage to learn how to manage your life without them, that is exactly where I am as well. They work, but I don't like the fake happy feeling. They try to tell me that is what my normal is, and I am just not remembering my true normal, that I don't buy, I remember my youth before this all started.
They all have a stake in tech, and they all would not like to have their tech backed up by a system, that anyone can get into if one person leaks it out. DMV, the police, all those poorly secured systems that are now basically a new RFC that is for publicly routable address space that everyone treats like private address space, but just insert your special gummy bear finger print copy, and bam, you are in.
Get all those companies behind this, and people will think the FBI are crooks and theives.
If you have your own merchant account and have implemented the code by hand or through a library, you pay all sorts of fees, sign up fee, fraud chargeback fees, percentage of charge, statement fee, monthly fee, etc. Both Strip and Square offer simple integrations, simpler than Pay-Pal IMHO, and I assume they have the capacity to deal with fraud better.

I guess you can all call me a moron or close to it, to this day, I don't know what a container is good for.
I'm reading this now: https://www.docker.com/whatisdocker
Is this server level, user level, both? Something else? I saw a Hacker Con video and someone was basically containerizing all their apps so that the underlying OS basically did nothing but run the hardware and containers.
Does this mean, one day, instead of monitoring my installs on Mac OS X to see what files were put where so when something breaks I can find those files? I could simply install to a container, my OS would not be touched, and I could delete the container and be back to a stable state?
Can you even get OS X to run on a container? Would it be a good idea or even feasible to install PhotoShop in a container, or not even possible, as that app tosses stuff all over my OS.
Or, is this more like a different way to do things, but it is still AWS and their AMI's or Digital Ocean or any of the others.
I feel I am completely falling behind and have no idea why I would need one of these. Hell, if I made an iOS app, I have no idea if there are Apple servers you pay them to use for stuff, or if you deploy your own servers, or you use something like AWS, and how does that scale on demand, do you have to build that into your s=infrastructure, or is there a "auto scale as demand dictates" checkbox?
Is AWS, Docker, all the rest, in the end, is this just like in the old days where I would have 42U of rack space, put in a DNS server, put in a few http servers, use this as round robin image load balancers, DB servers, backup DB servers, replication DB servers. And when I needed to grow for heavy demand for a day, that was an issue. I fail to see how you can scale based on demand when a database is involved.
Databases scare me, one thing never talked about... We have git for code, what about databases. How does a dev team work that out? If you need a new field, drop some data, alter a table, add an index, etc. How do you get what you have on your local machine in test out to live? How is every little database change tracked and rolled back if need be. How do the DBA guys communicate with the coders to make sure a name change to a table gets updated in the code. Is there git for postgres and others?
All this made sense to me 5 yeas ago when the cloud was called the internet and email, ftp, http, etc were all part of the "cloud" or as I call it "the internet". But now, things are confusing, wrapped up in terms like "cloud" that make no sense to me. I have been, as we all have been, using "the cloud" for over a decade, the first time I logged into a slip account and got on some gopher server or similar, that was cloud to me and I believe it still is. POP email is cloud, the internet is cloud. It is now just convoluted to the developer so end users understand something that really only developers need to understand. Am I making the same mistake with containers, and they are nothing special and have been around for ages like the cloud and it is just a buzzword now? Apple has sandboxing and something called containers in their OS, is this similar in principle?
Auto makers don't burden their end users with engine shop talk, nor dumb it down for them into simple terms, but we seem to with tech. This should be it's own post but I just kinda got on a roll, sorry.
Hesitant to install all these as tests since they seem to litter my system with some rather deep stuff, that not done right, can and will eventually cause you trouble.
Anyone know of a simple way to just mount Amazon S3 as a drive? Or is that not possible with the way they name folders having to be globally unique; unless that is only the top level, or in this case, the drive mount point name.
Many things can influence how we look. And from this article it seems the markers are very subtle. I would almost expect to see people getting minor cosmetic surgery, where some lines are removed, some accentuated, an eyebrow tuck here, an eye pull there, a lip push here, a wrinkle added there.
All these are minimal invasive compared to full on look altering cosmetic surgery. We just have to figure out what to polish and what to prematurely age and distress.
Or is it just as simple as two companies working together and fingerinting and matching thereby making that called a super cookie?
What has NSI-189 done for you specifically and how does it make you feel? Are there any annoying side effects and where in the heck did you get it?
