beyti··on Supercharge Claude Code, Cursor, Codex with Semantic Code Intelligence
As far as I understood, it creates an AST from the whole project and stores it in a sqlite db. Not just the active files. Tries to be a bridge between file system operations of llm models and the disk.

tho, I don't think this will help on context-wise persistence. This is basically a AST wrapper around io operations on disk.

beyti··on Redis array: short story of a long development process
I keep finding myself to minimize the words to describe the same thing as well, since we are finding ourselves doing "that" operation more and more over time.

maybe shortening the term to "auto-code" would help tho.

beyti··on AutoMapper and Mediatr Going Commercial
Masstransit and Mediatr are a strong base I build a lot of my projects, hopefully they will find a sustainable way going forward.
beyti··on GitHub Copilot for individuals available without waitlist, with free trial
isn't making it paid service will greatly limit its training data in the long run? am I thinking too narrow here?
beyti··on My macOS keyboard shortcuts
What I would definitely suggest on top of this list is: https://www.hammerspoon.org/ for extensive keyboard + functionality customization.
beyti··on Cunningham's Law
That's a really clever strategy and so obvious that now I'm feeling guilty of not thinking it out myself earlier. Thanks a lot.

Thanks a lot, it was really bugging me and couldn't find a nice reason online.

beyti··on Age of Empires: Definitive Edition Beta
Same here. Resolved by: 1. logging in through https://account.xbox.com/ 2. click profile picture top right corner and click profile 3. Privacy settings 4. Privacy and Online Safety > Privacy 5. Allow all "Microsoft Can" options (possibly not all needed but don't know which ones required so..)
beyti··on Show HN: Make an app by adding JSON to this app
If you are showing a web page inside your app and the web page contents changed, is that a problem too? I mean where's the line defined by apple for the term "change".
beyti··on Dropbox, Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive blocked in Turkey following leaks
To be honest, for a couple of years, "justice" is not a thing in Turkey sadly.

If you become a target against government for any reason at all, you'll get sued for an absurd claim, taken into prison till the law case to be handled which will not be lasted for years.

There are dozens of examples of the scenario above including mostly journalists, activists, military personnel etc.

To describe how serious this is let me give an example: I'm arguing my dad for him to not share his political messages via facebook from his account. It is that paranoid you've become that you fear for a simple fb message, you can lose your parents.

beyti··on Dropbox, Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive blocked in Turkey following leaks
Till today, I've never heard anyone sued over a situation like using vpn but I'm sure we'll see that in not so distant future. For almost a year, I've been forced to use vpn at least couple of times a month for a similar problem.
beyti··on Dropbox, Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive blocked in Turkey following leaks
No message, just not responding.

Am I the only one concerned here about the posts with links requiring to sign up just to read?

for people like me, here a link not requiring a signup to read: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2016/sep/09/facebook-...

beyti··on Turkish government revokes ham radio licenses
There is a distinct separation between the people who made the country as it is now and the people who couldn't prevent them. As for your concern; the lacking prevention of the now felt almost-dictatorship is a strong evidence of the lack of politics involvement of the group which is against this kind of Turkey now.

So your concern is right, if the people who made this country this way gets to flee; it's not if the people who couldn't stop this country be this way gets to flee.

beyti··on Turkish government revokes ham radio licenses
Agreed on this which frightens me more because now it is an actual probability that Turkey will be another country which US thinks "needs to be corrected". Scenario which has been done already on Afgh. & Iraq and the results are all clear.
beyti··on WikiLeaks releases AKP email database
I'm not saying it's incorrect, it's not a well known acronym outside Turkey though. It could be "Turkey's ruling party" then in light of your comment. But it's ok if everybody's ok with it, just my thoughts.
beyti··on WikiLeaks releases AKP email database
for the sake of clearness, story title can be switched to "turkish government" from "AKP", since other than turkish people would not be familiar with the name "AKP"(ruling party name's acronym)
beyti··on Facebook and Twitter pledge to remove hate speech within 24 hours
Agreed, hate cannot be distinguished by 1/0, but only men. And men is proved to be biased.
beyti··on Show HN: Subasub – Learn Languages with Translated Subtitles
maybe the hn effect here but was really slow for me too, ended with "couldn't connect to server" the first time.

Cool idea though. my 2 cents: would be lovely to see a few popular searches or recent searches or at least example words to speed up the understanding of the concept; after selecting the languages.

beyti··on Why most mobile development projects fail
Replacing "Photoshop" with "Design Resources", really slim and useful article I think. Especially agreed to the "design + dev + dev-ops" responsibilities are mostly neglected by the client and should be described within handshake process as described.
