Having worked on developing such UI’s before in house it’s very nice to outsource and focus on building my app with Reruns insanely smooth rendering.
People’s relationship with technology for its ability to solve your every need and desire will be commonplace.
Obligatory noise cancelling headphones. Get a good pair.
Apple OEM chargers. They work so well for fast charging.
A model trained to optimize for what happens next in a sentence is not ideal for interaction because it just emulates bad human behavior.
Combinations of optimization metrics, filters, and adversarial models will be very interesting in the near future.
- Large scale ransoms and hacks will continue. Driving fear to take cybersecurity more seriously.
- Distrust in mainstream media outlets will push users to siloed echo chamber platforms. Lower barriers to entry to develop the tech behind the platforms will allow them to grow rapidly.
- The metaverse will not get adoption but the signs of being the future of entertainment will be there.
- A significant breakthrough for brain computer interfaces will be released for gaming. (See Gabe Newell interview) Every big company starts racing to research BCI tech.
- EV startups productionizing for the first time will experience reliability and scalability issues. Tesla’s lead in industry will be apparent but competitors will start closing the gap.
I’ve admired Github for having a clear and readable UI that didn’t change. All their UI feature additions before I thought were fantastic.
Devs don’t want to have learn new things if not necessary. I’m hoping it will grow on me.

Personally I recommend Computer Vision, Reinforcement Learning and AI Techniques for Robotics. Skip classes that emphasize writing essays over coding.
