How does that work?
I have a very popular first name, but it's still way less than 1% of population for my gender and it's already "too common" at my workplace such that we have to use surnames instead
1. It's a large financial hit at an already highly stressful time. It's usually also a non-optional expense.
2. It also taxes those who are childless.
We already do free childcare via K-12 education in the US via taxes, we just need to fill in the gap before that.
When your team has familiarity with something, it's a bit harder to suggest an alternative unless it's quite a lot better
Are they somehow in the clear unless we can show they actively exploited it?
I'm very happy to do so - on exacally one condition, daycare becomes free.
It's just TC being too low
Plenty of us are happy, even pleased, to make weapons.
