The creature it refers to pretty universally considered repulsive. I'm no psychologist or anything, but I would expect that to have an undue influence on even the most rational person.
Where do I put my 50 ounce soda?
To me, edge networks make more sense. Distribute your services across datacenters close to your users.
( And if they fail at this, why would I trust them with anything else? )
Shame!
But yeah, JS is Crazy Town. It can be very frustrating.
( Be wary of dependencies. )
It's time for a new web, and a new user agent with a minimal core so it isn't impossible to implement.
( Not sure "obfuscated" is the word I'd use, though. )
( It really sucks to have to jump in and work with some project's massive blob of vestigial, conflicting styles. )

Remove Google surveillance #847
( My guess is some kind of spam / astroturfing product. )
Rocked it til it broke, and I'm still missing it 3 years later. I guess I need a new one.
In this clip the speaker argues that masks should be saved for health workers and those with symptoms.
I think the design really nails it: just enough architecture, tagged template literal rendering, functional DOM tree composition with an optional component system.
I prefer to avoid stateful components in favor of pure rendering functions, as much as possible.
Choo's renderer is based on morphdom, which is interesting because it diffs against the real DOM rather than maintaining a virtual one.
I use monoapp, which is a fork of Choo allowing you to bring your own renderer (such as lit-html).
If it were my project, I would first look to the generic TLDs, and choose one that pairs nicely with the word "clip" or "clips", or something similar (but not Clippy LOL).
I would look through https://domcomp.com, filter by "gTLDs" (and maybe ccTLDs also).
Here are a few I see at a glance (not checking whois):
clip.stream
clip.link
clip.dog (with a dog mascot / logo maybe)
clip.show
clip.watch
clip.zone
clip.rip
clip.it / clips.it
clips.lol

I've been struggling as an independent developer / producer for like 15 years, consulting / freelancing intermittently when desperate. I need some stability for a change.
My focus for the past several years has been on conversational interfaces and "Messaging 2.0". But I've been struggling with no funding, and need to get a real job and work on Slater as a side project.
I am bright and passionate, and I'm looking for a family / gang to be loyal to, and for work that is meaningful and humane.
I'm building a messaging app where users can set the subscription price of their own private group.
I agree that the barrier to entry / exclusivity of paid memberships is a value proposition in itself, and I'm curious to see where it goes.
If so, when will our laws reflect the fact that before that age, a person is not fully capable of considering the consequences of their choices?
Lending institutions, pornographers, and the military are still being allowed to exploit this incapacity of "young adults" in ways that may affect their entire lives.
How many of us are in debt, or injured, or killed because of this predation?
An 18 year old kid can choose to participate in pornography. Should we not consider this child abuse?
