There are two more questions to ask, is this already priced into the current market? And, will our social distancing be enough to change our current trajectory?

Kind of reminds me of the following bit where deadmau5 talks about reverb and compression to create a sound that goes beyond what the oscillators generate. He plays a tune without, it illustrates a similar effect. (warning: lots of cussing)

I use it in conjunction with Google Photos as a secondary back-up of the original photos (to the local drive and a thrid-party cloud back-up)
1) Dark mode is increasingly not exclusively about the user experience. We're seeing phones switch automatically to dark mode when batteries are low.
2) Dark mode, at least for email, has better readability by design. The dark mode algorithm swaps foreground with background and then adjusts the colors to be at least at a ratio of 4.5 to 1 (wcag 2 compliance). This means you can have unreadable white text over white background in light mode and it will actually be readable in dark mode. So having discussions about whether dark mode is more readable is kind of pointless, it was designed to be more accessible.
edit: If there is interest, I can share a desktop app that helps illustrate dark-mode changes (specifically for email). https://imgur.com/NOGT5el
One thing that was frustrating when learning guitar was figuring out which finger goes where. Even though the tabs show where you need to press, they don't really tell you which finger should go where.
Is this something you would be able to help with?
With that in mind, can someone at Netflix please figure out a way to enable user created content?
Your customer base is ready for this. You don't need to focus exclusively on creating your own content. You've got the tech in place to support it. Many popular channels on Youtube would be right at home on Netflix. Take a note from Amazon, you don't need to be a book store when you can do much more.
It is a pretty big mess actually. Each manufacturer has different constants that need to be applied to the data, so the raw data from one device is not comparable to another. Convincing dcraw that you actually want the unaltered data is not straight forward.
Anyways, if you really do want to see the raw image, there are a few undocumented flags you can use.
> dcraw -E -4 -T *.CR2
This will give you an unprocessed 16-bit tiff file containing the "raw" data.
What is interesting is that some camera sensors capture data slightly beyond the image you are presented with. The camera will crop in and debayer the image for you, as will your image editor.
See this thread for hilarious lengths people go to in order to get unaltered data from their sensors (monochorme converting a dslr):

I use a mac for all other development except for this project. I have nothing against windows, just looking to simplify my development workflow across all projects.
I'm happy to be proven wrong though as I wouldn't want something unsafe on the streets as much as anyone else.
There are minor issues when you venture off and decide that it would be cool if a monsters could damage your weapon. Something like Monster.hits(Weapon).with(Weapon). You'll start wondering if Weapon should inherit from the player base class. If not, you'll spend time wondering how to share the code to keep things dry. Obviously there are many solutions even within OOP, but one might consider looking to ECS to remove code duplication and decouple things.
Lots of good examples in the game programming patterns book: http://gameprogrammingpatterns.com/component.html
Also, this issue raises some more questions:
1) It sounds like they might use a device to scan your hardware automatically, potentially opening the door to copying files for permanent record
2) It is a small step from here to install tracking software on your device (as China is doing in some places)
Also, "Built by Jekyll and minima".

I wonder if that tiny antenna could be enhanced with a wire.
It is very small as far as custom PCs go, pixel 2 provided as a size reference.
I've had a couple projects that would benefit from aluminum milled parts, but I haven't been able to figure out how to go about making 1 or 2 parts without spending hundreds on setup or tooling costs.
I wonder how much of that work would be generalizable through specialized neural nets: https://arxiv.org/abs/1702.00403
Thanks!
Technology has helped us go past what would have been though of as possible with similar optics equipment 50 years ago. For the most part, optical mirrors and lenses are the same but what we can now do with them has changed quite a bit.
For example, here is a video of Mars through a small telescope: http://i.imgur.com/8juHPdn.gifv
If we take the best parts of each video frame in that video and combine them in a smart way, a process called lucky imaging, we can reduce the impact of the atmosphere: http://i.imgur.com/CzLZTlv.png
