Does anything like this exist?
However, contrary to OP I enjoy these somewhat awkward situations where someone doesn't quite understand my email address. I find it can naturally lead to a conversation about privacy and data protection and I'm happy to spread the awareness, if someone is interested.
I'm following a routine called Stronglifts 5x5[0] and it's dead simple, but yet incredibly fun and easy to gamify - You're progressively adding weight and seeing results almost immediately. I use an open source app called Track and Graph[1] to track, and you guessed it.. graph my results - It's a rewarding feedback loop!

Eventually, I rewrote it using Svelte which made an already simple app trivial to reproduce.
One step of the interview process was a feature request / pair programming session.
I created QCard[0] for this very purpose, quick in-person networking - Every QR reader can visit a URL.
You could also encode a VCard directly into a QRCode so it functions without internet, however I found this isn't widely supported.

I think I'll replace my LaTeX Pipeline with this.

It's a nice time to reflect on goals.. Over the next year I would like to finish and publish my free and open source VR game made with Godot and focus on the idea of not continuously distracting myself.
In Germany, a Road Legal is available. It's an amazing machine due to the fact you can go almost anywhere with it - I can go completely off-road in the mountains and go from A to B on the streets without issue.
Your feet take a beating in the first few weeks but you will build a tolerance.
In my opinion, they're fantastic for hiking as you feel the ground beneath you. Being more aware of the ground surface increases your step precision as well as your balance.
I highly recommend giving a pair a go!
I like what you've built, it solves a problem in a neat way - Would love to see this going the free and open source route.

I notice it's archived, Is ongoing development located somewhere else?
I see you've linked to a Github account but I didn't see any source for the cli or WebApp.
Are you considering releasing the source code under a free and open source license?
What I like about it is how easy it was to store encrypted properties inside the browser.
The documentation and Typescript support is great too.
Its a small, statically linked binary which is easy to install and the templating feature is really useful.
This is just an alternative.
After trying this technique of multiple QR scanning apps, I found a lot that didn't include this feature. However, every app I tried can launch the browser given an encoded URL.
This solution allows the reader to inspect the data (visiting the url, email etc) before downloading the VCARD and polluting their contacts.
There's no reason you can't self host this and add a URL shortener. I reason I choose not to embed such a feature is I wanted this to be 100% client side so I can develop this into a PWA.
Hope I was able to clear up some confusion.
If you have any questions or feedback, let me know :)
