I'd be interested to see your evidence for such a statement and better understand what exactly makes you think Cloudflare's mission is to build a proprietary network?

Pretty much most if not all of Cloudflare's services and work suggest the complete opposite to me.

Like other commenters, Cloudflare for me is probably one of the only companies I truly trust. I'm not saying that because I'm a big user of there services in fact 1.1.1.1 is the only service I actively use.

This reminds of the whole browser war situation with Microsoft many years ago which Microsoft was forced to allow other browsers. It, however, feels different from Apple who seem to be able to just get away with this behaviour unchallenged.

I'm guessing the costs around NVIDIA cards is why Google are pushing there own TPU's and building custom chips and hardware?

This only mention's the data within the U.S. and U.S. Riders but would be interesting to see what countries try request regarding Riders from outside of there country. For example has the U.S. government agencies been requesting data for Riders in other cities/countries from around the world and have they given said data or not?

Your missing the point of this post, and the point of a lot of these comments. People don't want the foreigner investors funding these things as they then own the property stopping people who actually want to live there owning them. That's why people are moving out of London, that's why property is so expensive. Rich foreigners are buying the property for investments, making other properties more expensive.

Seriously just cause you live in the US and everything is over the top including police force, that doesn't mean its the norm. I can ensure you police force in the US and the use of guns is over the top and unjustified, so was this in the case for Dotcom.
