I still hear your voice in the night As I lie awake I feel so lifeless now that I don't have your embrace
We should be in each others arms But we were at our throats And now we've drowned But we fought hard to stay afloat
I guess this is goodbye So let's just close our eyes I guess we don't belong Our hearts don't beat as one
I'm breaking Our world is shaking I guess this is goodbye So let's just close our eyes And say goodnight
I wish that I could go back And relive all the times That I still cherish dearly In the back of my mind
I never thought that we would have A final curtain call I guess the pieces don't fit like they did before And I know that it's not our fault So why does it hurt so bad Now we are two souls walking through no man's land
You said opposites attract But now were just the same You still live in my heart It's driving me insane
And I guess only time will tell If I can let you go But now I fear that I'm in love With the ghost of you
I guess this is goodbye So let's just close our eyes I guess we don't belong Our hearts don't beat as one
I'm breaking Our world is shaking I guess this is goodbye So let's just close our eyes And say goodnight
Here Lies Titania - The Ghost of You
Healing takes as long as it takes and you cannot predict the person you will be on the other side.

Highly recommended!
Come up with a different mechanism if you ever want anyone competent to work at your startup.
2. Not making it clear to the client up front that if they wanted me to do the work the following week I've also have to charge them extra for having to reshuffle my schedule.
With big companies this stuff is very hard to fix after the fact, it has to be part of the initial negotiation.
Employees don't make money working for startups (anymore).
BEZOS, YOU HAVE FAILED YOUR PROFESSION!
If this is their final position we will no longer be purchasing UI hardware moving forward.
I'm not trying to "go to the wall" because I want to win an argument with you.
What I'm trying to do is use an example of another kind of discriminatory behaviour which is socially unacceptable to demonstrate to you that many people will find your words to be obnoxious and judge you harshly for them.
But hey, if you don't care about that kind of thing then it's not your problem I guess.
Not asking for special privileges or protections.
Asking for the same privileges and protections afforded to everyone else.
Or try it like this and see how it feels:
"Let's face it: for white people, a lot of black people are very hard to get along with ..."
1. Our programming language has an attribute called "autocomplete" with two possible values: "on" and "off"
2. We will now (without consultation or announcement) simply start ignoring one of those values when you specify it. (and certainly not document the new behaviour!)
3. Here, I made you a convoluted (and undocumented!) workaround for getting the original behaviour of the attribute back.
I'm not sure which horse these FAANG kids who excel at programming challenges rode in on, but this attitude is RIFE in their product SDK's and API's.
Dijkstra must be spinning in his grave.
This stuff is always highly context dependent and the ongoing efforts of everyone to pretend it isn't makes it extremely difficult to have adult conversations on the topic.
It was decades before the PC's we used to build FreeBSD, GNU, Linux etc. had even a free software BIOS available.
Historically, free hardware availability has followed in the wake of free software.
Everyone keeps bringing up this legendary "app store featuring safe curated content" keeping the "ordinary user" safe but the reality is both Google & Apple's stores are riddled with deceptive apps, scam subscriptions and spyware!
The real story with iOS (and to a lesser extent Android) security has been the switch to restricting the damage any particular app can do through process and resource isolation.
That said, these single-vendor proprietary mobile platforms are all dumpster fires so it may be time to start developing a free software alternative.
You may be a bit young to remember this but it was once possible to install any software on hardware you owned without permission from the manufacturer.
Remember when all the Microsofties were gloating about how it was never gonna happen to them?
Pepperidge farm remembers…
* Dear dentist, can you please show me how you fill cavities?
* Dear lawyer, can you please show me how you law?
* Dear surgeon, can you please show me how you operate?
* Dear accountant, can you please show me how you do taxes?
* Dear architect, can you please show me how you design?
