"LYAH is full of incorrect definitions and broken analogies."

Well it's fine for beginners, because beginners want easy explanations and many examples to start with, instead of very precise definitions which requires a precise math vocabulary.

anon335dtzbvc··on Why Is It Taking 20 Minutes to Mine This Bitcoin Block?
Okay but i expect to wait 5 min on avg. so due to the paradoxon it is 10 min not 20 min
anon335dtzbvc··on Why Is It Taking 20 Minutes to Mine This Bitcoin Block?
Hmm if this is similar to the hitchhiker’s paradoxon, then one would expect to wait 5 min for the next block by intuition, which is wrong and we have to wait 10 minutes. But i do not get why the intuition should be wrong by a factor of 4x (20 mins) instead by a factor of 2x (10 mins).

well thats not quiet true, in purescript you can write type-safe CSS checked at compile time

It's not a question of wether something might break, it's a question of when will it break and how long a new introduced bug might be undetcted, that could have easily detected by some tests? Bugs always happen in projects, if someone says otherwise, he either proved his program to be correct (e.g. in COQ) or is wrong (and sometimes both :).
anon335dtzbvc··on Show HN: Frappe Charts – GitHub inspired JavaScript charting with zero dependencies
Well I would use it, but I wouldn't contribute, because I write all my code in a test driven programming way. AFAIK Chuck Norris writes the code first, never the test.

Could someone explain to me why everyone is crazy about type theory? ATM i learn category theory by watching and reading the awesome material from Bartosz Milewski. Should i stop and learn type theory instead, if i want to know more about programming languages in an abstract / general sense?

Very nice project keep going, would love to see more haskell projects arising from this. Code related: I'm by no means an haskell expert, but your main function in Main.hs looks a bit lengthy, usually i dont see haskell methods with 50+ lines, might be better to split them up and provide names for subfunctions.

nvi is a acronym for "not vi" :)
anon335dtzbvc··on Vi is not vim
The best option is to have a option.
anon335dtzbvc··on Vi is not vim
Well modern plugin managers have lazy plugin loading based on the current filetype. You open .cpp vim transforms into a cpp "ide". You open .hs ghc-mod and friends has you covered. Lazy plugin solved the old problem of having hundred vim plugins loaded at the same time resulting in an slow ide like experience.
