Meccano sets.

For MEV! I love them even 30 years after I got my set, was one of the best "toys" I got as a child.

All old Lego mindstorm are amazing also.

Primo is a toy for even younger people that is cute and teach them about sequences of actions and how to set that.

Sir, this is why I pay internet.

Sir, I come to make a complain about no milanesa sandwich.

I hope this issue will be fixed soon.

I'm just seeing Three Body tv show and you do t want to have aliens.

Hi, I started a month ago going to the gym. Do not forget stretching and prepare your muscles with a routine to warm them up.

I'm started (starting from nothing) :

Day A: 1-dumbbell (db)drop squat, 3x12/15-FF 2-One Arm db press, 3x12/15-FF 3-Chest support row, 3x12/15-FF 4-BW Slit squat 3xFF each

Roll ups, 3xFF Suitcase carry, just, try 3 times I still don't understand that too much

Day B:

1-Pull Trhough 3x12/15-FF 2-Reverse lunge 3x12/15-FF 3-Pushups 3xFF 4-Lat pull down 3x12/-FF

Again roll ups and suitcase carry

A and B on different days, with 1 day to rest.

Get some weights (10 lb maybe, try for yourself) to do A1/2/3, get an elastic band (comes in different resistance) for B1/4.

After 2 weeks I can do both exercises in one day and today I'm starting every day. Equating will train your balance and back position to work better with your bar.

You will see results in 3 months.

Don't eat just eggs, eat everything because you needs all the vitamins. Fresh vegetables, chicken, beef, pork, eggs, rice, beans, milk, etc. Talk to your nutritionist, weight yourself everyday, adjust your diet on the way.

The bar must be really low for friendship in NY if 15 months are enough..

Well well well, that is what I call a service.

There is an API for this extremely useful data?

I don't like clowns, but this is really nice for that people. great project I'm sharing it and donating something.

Anyway, is there somewhere, something like IT without Borders? To donate time or effort, our hands to build infraestructure for places wothout it?

Dan Harmon storytelling building is something incredible. I support this.

I'm game master/storyteller, and the best stories I built were on the fly thanks to this.

Strongly support to this answer.

When I was living in Neuquén, Patagonia Argentina, we had the same situation.

The city was closed almost a day because a truck driver lost the capsule while driving his truck.

The mayor concern was someone trowing that to the river.

That was 25 years ago I think.

Edit: I'm reading that 6 years ago the same happened..

If they are not naming it Damonreach, all Chicagoans must to sign a letter in protest.

I'm very proud of all of you for the reference.

I think that looking how to build friendship is seeing the end of a book before read the content.

Friendship is the result to be good people, to take care of others, to be trustworthy, to be a good listener, etc. Friendship will come after that.

Maybe 1 out 100 people you meet will be a friend, and 1 out 10 will last. Anyway, they will be with you because how you are, not just with them, but with others, even when you thinks you don't have anything to offer.

Networking is just other thing, totally different.

Bandwidth was my first concern years ago when I applied to be sysadmin in Antartica (Carlini base). The only thing that I wanted was a full backup of stackoverflow.

Very common on regional parties to do that, but the whole cow meat is not good for BBQ. Some meat is better for stews, other to bake or to cook in a pan. It is common to BBQ the whole ribs.

Argentinan here. 38 yo.

"Parties" Are now dinners with friends, no more than 10. Many of them has child's so is hard for everyone to go, but we do some meetings.

As professional, parties moved to After offices, until pandemic, no more than 1 or 2 hours in a bar with colleagues (even we had the adminbeers for sysadmin community). That was really nice.

Anyway I'm moving to Chicago, so just tell me when you wants to do a BBQ.

I'm from Argentina. Our incomes comes basically from agriculture and livestock, we export almost all (we produce food for 10 times our population, estimated)

Anyway I'm very sure that in some years the country incomes will plummet, because the technification. We are not doing anything against the fact that climate change, wars and technology are driving us to a point that every country can grow their own meat or grain on their own land.

Now farming this indoor is expensive, but in few years importing will be higher, and the technology to produce that indoor, on your own land will be cheap.

Now, we are having a really bad bad drought that cut our income expectation by 40%, soy beans prices will be really high this year, other things like wheat, corn, etc maybe will be not affected because our market is Latin America (prices will be for them). Cattle is dying becaue ethe lack of water, but anyway we are so stupid country that we don't have the number of livestock we had decades ago.

So, now could sound stupid, not in the future, and definitely not if you can think about permanent bases on Mars for example.

They must to update the ogl 1 deleting the article 9, and maybe people will trust a little bit.

My fiance works as therapist in USA. I was born and raised in Argentina.

Sometimes when I see the healthcare system in USA I cannot believe how the country could be like that, how people cannot think for a moment about other people in needing, I really cannot believe why there is people that cannot want universal healthcare. It is beyond my worst imagination.

It is an human right, it is someone suffering. I know that is expensive, I know that there is a lot of things to do, but people is dying, because they are poor, because they cannot pay an insurance, because the insurance is for profit and is not hiring more doctors, etc.

Healthcare system and education system is something that I cannot believe how bad it is in usa. And is sad af.

Are u kidding me? Again? Are we fighting against the same company again? We never learned anything. They had the article where they can change anything at any time, that was always a red flag, and was from the first day.

As gm it is a shame that someone uses that licence all those years. Paizo made a rewrite and I think was the only company that saw that coming decades ago. But many mainstream groups used the content and the rights that the licence gave to push their projects and made a fortune (and wizards used that to push again the game), and now they are saying: no more. Well, bad luck for you.

Use a real open licence, even a CC-BY-SA-NC if you wants, not a licence with a backdoor from the owner!

My god, the community is fighting a battle for less than 20 companies affected because they wanted to use a stupid licence.

OGL 1.1 is bad as 1.0 was, it is the same shit, now with a royalty and just because of that, they are all like crazies. Was always as bad as now.

I still remember someone doing a slow motion analysis and they cannot find how was made a trick.

I will add my recommendation about René Lavand, card magician with only one hand.

I had one!!

Was fun af, the engine was loud and always was messy (I was not able to refill it, only my dad)

Around the World in Eighty Days, from Jules Verne. I read that when i was a child and blowed my mind with glimpses from other countries, other cultures and the joy of reading.

I think that after that book i had the question: how 100 years ago he was able to write about those places?. Then i never stopped to read. After that i started to develop the addiction i have about knowledge.

EDIT: oh, and the final plot twist.., was amazing.

Feliz Navidad!

Amazing, sharing with students now

First thing that came on my mind was The Martian book/movie and How the guy was eating only potatoes.

I need that diet now.

As argentinian i'm very happy because the team was awesome, very nice people, very good players and excellent final match against the last wc champion.

One thing that made me even happier is now i will be planning the 2026WC because at least 10 americans wants to go to see it.

is not from this year, but this year i discovered Shobu.

Some day we need to do a list of MegaGames, that is funnier.
