This is a very cool idea.

Would be interesting to see a spread of like 5 pokemon with the most similar in the center and slightly higher weights on the right with slightly lower weight on the left. That way you can see how changing your weight would affect the results ;)

Also interesting that you're generating an image instead of having selectable text (I was expecting the @komori541milk to be a link).

It would also be cool to see multiple results in the case where there are ties. (Slowbro and Exeggutor have the exact same measurements for instance).

Yeah, the image is a reasonable choice, but the lack of alt text (beyond “generated og image”), considering that you have the text already, is a shame.

Wouldn't it be nice if I could copy the text of the og image?

So what are you croudsource gathering a dataset of height and weights for?

I’ll never understand why people are so quick to provide such personal data for trivial reasons.

I generally agree but in this case how personal are we getting really? There's no login or anything, and you can put a fake name in. At most, my IP is getting logged, and the fact that I'm coming from HN. I don't consider height/weight that personal either, but I was an athlete in college so maybe that's because that data was publicly available on the internet for some time.

Charizard has always been drawn about a head taller than 10-year old Ash. And it was the same size as Leon in Sword/Shield.

This might be the best unintentional weight loss tool I've seen. Trying to get to the Pokemon a size down feels like a nice challenge.

One of the things I dislike most about the actual Pokémon games is that they tie the measurement units to the language in the game language.
